maybe someone lucky will get 2gb ram...who know...

on manuals, got 1 slot only, fill with 1gb and upgradeable to 2gb...

using CPU-Z to check it's show got 2 RAM slots, the other RAM slot is empty

I already recieved the netbook about 3 weeks ago.. here are some pics

Gold version comes with 250 gig h/disk -already partitioned into 2 partitions
partition 1 (c:) - clean windows 7 starter - no extra softwares ....
partition 2 (d:) - Windows 7 installation files, drivers ..including winXp driver...nice, & utility softwares for webcam i think..

btw after 3 days using this notebook I decided to install windows xp..but before that I already backup my original win 7 using acronis then saved it to partition D ..just in case I want to revert back to win 7.

Installing windows xp was quite tricky for me because i have to install it from thumbdrive..instructions how to install from usb stick can be found on google.....then I installed all the drivers for xp ..everything works fine..

for me running windows xp is much better in terms of performance compared to windows 7.. so I decided to stick on windows xp...

Performance wise... playing hd video (720p) downloaded from youtube just fine..but for windows xp you have to install some video codecs..in this case I installed ffdshow codec pack..so I able to play most popular video formast like avi divx/xvid..etc

My only complaint about this notebook is audio.. sound too slow...so to overcome this problem you need to connect it to the external speakers with built in amplifier or using good headphone.

Guys, to those who have successfully got this 1Malaysia package and using it at present, do you find the speed alot slower than normal Streamyx package.
I am now using the 4MB with HP netbook package which is RM108/mth.
I did a speedtest and yes, it shows +-4MB, but my actual download speeds from QVOD, xunlei etc are much more slower compared to the old 1MB RM110/mth normal Streamyx.

And my ping is also higher than previous.

Anyone experiencing the same feeling?

Called TM "n"times dy, all the same answer and solution.
Restart modem la, flush dns la bla bla bla...but result is still the same.

Damn I am stress....

got MSI webcam preinstalled...

im still trying to install winxp via usbdrive...

btw, the imalaysia sticker fall off on day one edi...

the Gold version is look more high class....some more came with 250GB HDD..

those who got the 1malaysia netbook, do you face any problems using it?

mine have this weird problem, once shut down, it cannot be start up immediately. have to wait for few hours. if i start up immediately, there is light in the on/off light but nothing on screen. press the power button again, no lights at all and nothing on screen. keep pressing the power button, no more reaction. but if wait for few hours, then can start up like normal. OMG... so unreliable? I didn't do anything... is like this when I open it new

i just messup my netbook...

i did install winxp, follow all the instruction, including delete the partition, forgot that all the win7, driver and etc. is on D drive...
now winxp is running but witout the driver,

i managed to get the driver for win7, but the card reader driver is still missing... will revert back to win7 tonight, anybody please upload the driver for win7 and winxp on rapishare or somewhere, pleaseeeeeeeeeee...

i'm still looking for the card reader driver...

btw, mine is N450GLD 1malaysia, not hp...
