I'm doing you a favor here. Go to nearest TM Point and ask them if 4Mbps is available to your house. As simple as that. No one here can answer your questions for you. We are not working with TM and in the dark as much as you are.

Official news not available on official websites yet? Can't seemed to find any info in http://www.tm.com.my nor http://www.streamyx.com at the moment.

Well I don't see why you can't migrate your current package to this package as long as you fit into the requirement.

That's what I'm thinking at first. Just like how Combo user upgraded to Blockbuster package, free, no termination fee/penalty even when you are still in contract. However, few pages back, someone said it doesn't apply for this Jalur Lebar package. You have to pay RM350 penalty if you're still in contract and want to change/upgrade to Jalur Lebar package. We should let the dust settle first. I'm sure even their customer service does not know much about this package yet.

partially mentioned in the faq link at the website, 2 years contract, once subscribe, you cannot hop to another package else penalty 600 (although can change the speed as offered in this package), no mention on the migration

Yea the real killer for this package is the 2 years minimum subscription period and during these 2 years you're not allowed to migrate to any other packages. Anything could happen within these 2 years. Anyway I suspect the termination fee of RM600 is to recoup back the cost for the netbook.

everytime TM release new packages is like luring old customer to change their old package and tied them with contracts

seriuosly..i dun think the income is gonna be much of a concern..like the cooluni..they say income must be below 3k and 1st year or 2nd year...in the end, janji u can get the school chop..all can..
