on manuals, got 1 slot only, fill with 1gb and upgradeable to 2gb...

it's up to the vendor lah...

got MSI webcam preinstalled...

im still trying to install winxp via usbdrive...

btw, the imalaysia sticker fall off on day one edi...

i just messup my netbook...

i did install winxp, follow all the instruction, including delete the partition, forgot that all the win7, driver and etc. is on D drive...
now winxp is running but witout the driver,

i managed to get the driver for win7, but the card reader driver is still missing... will revert back to win7 tonight, anybody please upload the driver for win7 and winxp on rapishare or somewhere, pleaseeeeeeeeeee...

i'm still looking for the card reader driver...

btw, mine is N450GLD 1malaysia, not hp...

got driver for win7, but not for winxp...

winxp is really good and fast on this netbook...
i cannot find the driver for wifi and card reader anywhere on the net...

how come me got 250gb?

btw, i just revert back to win7, this time the ultimate version...
looks like this kind of netbook able to run win7 with aero too...

not bad ahh...

btw, you need to install Rnotify/Showeasy apps to get on screen display... if not there will be an unknown device in device manager and no on screen display...

1malaysia netbook also a lil bit hot lah...

and the fan also run frequently...

for my case, i just submit my payslip and ic copy to agent, without knowing whether my area is covered or not... saw the add on mudah.my... just try my luck only... hahahaa...

winxp is really good on netbook...
but me too just upgrade to win7 ultimate...
and aero is turn on automaticly too...

imho, netbook is mainly use for internet...
1gb ram plus pagefile is sufficient for our daily surfing...
if ram price is so cheap, then it's worth to upgrade...

the lack in netbook is not ram but the processor...
the processor score in WEI is just 2.3 for n450 and 2.5 for n470...
it is the processor that get the lowest score maaahhhh...

preinstalled with win7 starter edition...

and a copy of that OS is provided in a folder in D: drive, but you need to prepared your usb drive (then copy the whole content of the OS onto it) as you need to reinstall the OS from it just in case...

to prepared the usb dribe for win7 installation is easy, please googling to find how to do it...

that is a good side of opt for HP...

wish that 1malaysia have a recovery features too...

need to terminated old streamyx, existing streamyx user can't apply this package...

that is why i applied new phone line + streamyx 1malaysia...

and when approved, quickly terminated old phone line + streamyx combo...

much easier than terminated old streamyx combo then waiting for nobody know for how long for new streamyx 1malaysia to approved than waiting again for modem installation... and another waiting for the netbook...

mine is rm118.50

which is...

rm75 - deposit
rm10 - stamp duty
rm1 - detail billing
rm25 - rental line
rm7.50 - tax and calls to here and there...

second bill is... i dont recall lah, but total amount of first and second bills is rm13+.++, i just settled it last week...
don't really know how they do the calculation lah...

Added on October 7, 2010, 10:50 pmsame as my previus streamyx combo, keep getting rm25 rental, need to complaint to tm every month to get rebate/pelarasan... if ignore the rental (tak mau bayar), then they cut my phone line, phone liao streamyx pon liao, charge rm10 to reconnect, then need to pay full amount, after 2,3 or months will get the deduction... so messy...

hope this time they got rid of this messy problemo lah...

i tot all netbook got 1 slot, max 2gb only... that is the limitation set for netbook only, correct me if im wrong...

streamyx combo can move to other house, this 1 malaysia streamyx don't know lah...

but i i guess cannot lah... because its only for certain area, only for small to medium house, kampung2 only, theres a limitation right...

if you you're about to move from low cost house to a semi-d or bungalow, are you still qualified for this package...

no big deal man, about 10 days only lah...

same case with your netbook i guess... they just fit 1 slot only, but can support up to 2gb...

mine also show 2 slots lah... 1malaysia gold punya...

but sure got 1 slot and need to buy 2gb ram stick to upgrade...

later lah... wait until waranty expired or price of ram 2gb stick get lower than rm100...

any terms and conditions? - salary below rm3k for luar bandar and below rm5k for orang bandar...
how long does it take for tm to install? - depend on tm and their contractor...

for those who want to upgrade your ram, find it on mudah.my for rm100 - 2gb, sudah murah ya sekarang... pc gadjet retailler able to give only around rm120 - rm140 for 2gb ram...
