hye guys, jus got myself an M11X, so small, my eyes also blur, hahaha. Ususally i do my gaming on my desktop, so this lappie was jus for fun sake, hahaha. Wanna ask some users here, my laptop keypad seems to be a lil bulging at the left side, sinks on the center n flat on the right . . . wondering if anyone has the same thing.

BRO Changing your LCD is a quick process. Wanna see messy? Click my siggy and go to AW Thread 4 and you will see how they open up my lappy one by one and change the motherboard. That one damn pain feeling for me......

As for deadpixels, they have their industrial standards code to follow. But new units normally get a new LCD. Just check if the LCD they give u is refurbished one? Cos they wanted to give my a refurbished GPU last time but when it was put into my unit it didn't work. Remember to Test out new LCD Extensively!!!

One more thing..tomorrow dell technician will come for changing my palmrest and gpu fan..do i need to make any preparation?? Any reminder from you all before they do the fix?? Some1 said..need to watch careful what are they doing on your lappy..

wtd to put, but can see the diff. I googled other forums n there r few users wit same thing. WASD keypad area bulging, cld say when the key is pressed, theres still a lil gap dat cld b compressed behind it. Some say its warped keyboard . . .

well, prepare ur Alienware Cloth to put under ur laptop(prevent from scratching)
If got change LCD, there is a pink colour sponge, u can request from tech 1 ^^, is a nice sponge to put/place ur laptop while u are not using

Confirmed, mine also. WASD keys. May i know the idle temperature of your cpu and gpu? my m11x never goes down 40.

Yup. Even though I'm not in IT Line, I see them do some many times...sigh.... I also can confidently open myself. This is not good....

What you mean by 'open myself' ??? U cut open yourself confidently? 

Open the notebook part by part I mean.... off course not Cut it. Why would I want to cut my Alienware?
