Its possible, but you need to change the entire motherboard. And the cost of motherboard is too pricey its not worth it.

ouch. 14 inch. I rather buy a whole desktop. XD

Depends on people I guess. 14" is not portable enough for me, since its too big for me to carry comfortably around using a motorcycle, and I'm kinda skinny, so a bigger-sized laptop will be hard to carry around.

Depends on the game. It runs The Sims 3 + Expansions & Oblivion on a high setting pretty well.
Those 2 are the games I constantly play anyway.

The ones I'm talking about earlier was with the C2D, which over clocked to 1.6.

Im still yet to receive my new M11X. It should be within this week or early next week.

I'm getting the 1020 version.

From the thread this theory only applies to GTA4. Most of them agrees that Turbo Boost On is the way to go for most games, but people should really turn it off once in a while when playing games just to know for sure.

I think the theory is just that some games works great on dynamic core, some on static.

M11X advantage is that its pretty small and easy to be carried anywhere. If you can find other laptop with that size that can deliver same performance and cheaper, go ahead. But you cant.

My first impression on M11X R2. They no longer has glossy back cover. It's matte now. Which is good.

Wow, it comes with a nice alien-looking theme, called AlienBreed. They also have a theme manager called AlienGUIse.

My M11X R1 doesnt have that lol. Thats why a bit jakun. XD

Bought a new matte screen protector for my M11X. With installation, the fella charged me RM50.

I tried to put screen protector on lappy myself once. phailed miserably. Rather pay someone else to do it.

I do notice a lot of improvement for Sims 3 and Oblivion though.

Too lazy and dint bother with numbers. But as I said, the performance is better in Sims 3 and Oblivion, which before I only had to use mid-settings, especially anti aliasing and it performance is only adequate. But now full ALL settings and its pretty smooth.

Then again, I barely play other games. Portable Sims 3, Oblivion and DS games all year round! If at my house, already have an x-box.

LOL. Its not just my sense trust me. I've been playing those 2 games for a VERY long time to notice stuffs like that. Plus, I still have both games installed on my older M11X (Dell havent take that back yet, they ask me to backup first) and tried both games again and the new one provides better gaming experience.

Especially when scrolling Sims 3 open hood, or when playing Oblivion in Open World. Last time my Sims 3 was only mid anti aliasing setting, and its only okay. Now full anti aliasing and its smoother than before.

Same goes to my Oblivion. Last time just 2x anti aliasing and most shadow options turned off, its smooth indoors, but pretty laggy on open world. Now 8x anti aliasing and it works great.

I think it depends on the games/software you used as well.
