Can you enlighten me, why would a lubricant with high SAPS value be beneficial? I'm just curious.

Aren't we all going for low SAPS lubricant to reduce corrosion and piston ring wear?

Oh wow, I'm going for an oil change immediately tomorrow. I'm trying out something with 0.47% sulfated ash only. No wonder I'm hearing some tappet noise from the Campro engine. I hope no permanent damage.

I keep Liqui-moly mos2 10w-40 in my house. Will use this.

Next round of purchase will be targeting 10w-30 or 5w-30. Any recommendation?

I woke up very early this morning to get oil change from Proton CoSE. So cocky, they rejected me because I didn't make an appointment. I made an appointment at smaller service centre tomorrow, I hope I didn't wear off anything excessively. Previous oil change, I put in liqui-moly ceratec but the tappet sound is already quite obvious, maybe due to my aggressive driving

I don't have much experience with engine oil yet. I'm still in exploring mode. Any experience using lower viscosity oil than recommended, such as 0W-20 on a Persona that recommends 10W-30?

I am more worried about the 20 grade, because that's what my engine is exposed for long term.

I quickly changed the engine oil, back to Liqui-Moly, tappet is quieter again. But I think I definitely have caused some wear from previous oil.

I am suspecting imitation Liqui Moly MOS2 10W-40 engine oil. I've used twice of Liqui-Moly, the first experience was great being smooth, bought from this forum. I've got the second bottle slightly below market price from JB, physical look is the same but my engine had terrible tappet noise. Even Syntium 800 is much better than it.

Any news of fake Liqui Moly already?

Have you found a SC that allow user lubricant for your Inspira?
