can also refer to the other thread where 1 of our forumer did some tests/research on various high performance oils. liqui moly may not be a "top performer", however its additives in engine protection, which is very evident on the low/smooth noise revving and silky acceleration/rev goes to prove that your engine is in good hands.

as for me, i just want to prolong my engine life, since i just spent over 2k to complete overhaul it. and my foot quite heavy, time to time also red lining the car for no good reason lol, so liqui moly merely helps keep my engine in check smile.gif

huhu.. wat to do.liquid moly no doubt is good, but calculate calculate a, cannot la. somemore i change oil every 2 months plus @ 5k km...

mine jus pass 100k km... not yet overhaul...hopefully can tahan till another 5 years b4 need overhaul..lol

i dun mind change to SS, any brand can recommend a? budget of course not more than 100..lol..zzzz

argg..been poison by elton. in d end bought lamda oil primer n mos2 10w30 SS. vry vry nice. d engine sound vry smooth. feels d car slightly lighter. now to monitor oil consumption... biggrin.gif

Afaik, generally FS(grade 4 n 5) no matter wat r far more superior.. mineral n SS needs addictives to minimise different wit FS.. wit d patented addictives, it sometimes make it a value buy..

u open ur head for top overhaul right? do remember to readjust d tappet clearance after 1000km... it will loosen abit after a take out d valvetrain..

Added on September 4, 2012, 9:16 amdun use xW50 oil unless u r running on vry old engine(more than 10years) n not yet overhaul.. xW50 is usually used by those vry hot engine high rev'er n by old engine...
