QUOTE(ultramaman @ Apr 2 2012, 01:36 PM) i thought savvys are quite sensitive when it comes to oils ? are you sure you want to use tescos oil in it ? Well i poured it in already. Not too sure how sensitive by sensitive you mean. But let's test it out and see. so far i've being using all semi syn oil, first time on fully syn. Hope it would be good.

QUOTE(sarjantulang @ Apr 2 2012, 07:02 PM) same as usual....the FC is ok.... Added on April 2, 2012, 7:02 pmi think only with the gear oil only..especially if AMT gearbox...not the engine oil.... sarjantulang yup, savvy gearbox only takes in 1 kind of oil. 70w-80 or 75w-80 and it must be less reactive sulfurs found in most GL-5 oils that cause damage. so make sure you get the right oil. Alot of jokers just dump in normal oil after 2 year gearbox condemn then go running around town claiming savvy gearbox stupid and so on. HAHA

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Apr 3 2012, 11:34 AM) The only problem with the tesco fully synthetic oil is without the API rating. Do share with us the result. Sure sure! let me monitor the oil from time to time. Haha QUOTE(ThunderGod_Cid @ Apr 3 2012, 11:34 AM) Kidmad : a good semi syn oil performs much better and lasts much longer than a regular fully synth oil Haha i know where you are coming from but i can't help it when it see the blardy full syn oil selling at RM80. I even drain my current semi oil at 3.5k just to test out this tesco fully syn. lol

QUOTE(ultramaman @ Apr 3 2012, 01:22 PM) only for the semi syn. The fully syn one does not have any rating. Quite dangerous to be honest but looking at the price... heck just pour the damn oil in! hahaha

QUOTE(KIntos @ Apr 18 2012, 10:03 AM) im testing 10w40 just because to see any fuel saving. you know saga blm fuel hunger with the bloody lousy gearbox. regret buying it. full tank can only last 300km ++ for 1.3 model. gonna change car soon. Done! i've changed also. But for the boot space well it's worth it la. The price is dirt cheap. Anyway you can use any 10w-40 or 15w-50 but dont use w-30 engine oil. You don't feel the car anymore once you use that. Like tak boleh pick up...
