campro iinm on stock spec would be xw40? also if you're annoyed it's nvh, maybe can give a go with the motul or even liqui moly MOS2

if you don't give an f with nvh and just want that high revving pleasure, yes torco is a no brainer lol!

if you want to be on the safe side, manufacturer's recommendation is always best. but yes xw30 or even xw20 (maybe mix 30) is no problem, at least for my 7 years sentra anyways. SR-1 has xw20/xw30/xw40, only xw20 receives the energy conserving certification from API however all 3 are API SN

ever since rebuilt, i've fed it:
LM semi MOS2 xw40
Torco TR5 semi xw40
Torco SR-1 fully xw30/40 mix
(hopefully didn't miss anything else, just referred back to my records on my phone )

engine rebuilt on september 2011
mileage was 18000
mileage now is 62000 (SR1 is running for about 12k ady cuz i didn't have time to OCI as it's pending for a valve clearance adjustment/valve cover gasket replacement )

so 1x SR1 fully, rest of the 6 OCI is splitted between torco TR5 and LM MOS2 semi synthetics

red lining like crazy whenever the chance is there.
done track days including sepang - done over 30-40 laps for 2 hours time within sepang (overheating the entire time LOL!)

take note stock spec/paper sheet on a stock engine 4g15p 3AT is 163km/h and my engine is still on stock form dyno'd  at ~60 on wheel hp
that is about 6.2-6.7k rpm iinm

the oils i used have well over 220 Celsius flash point, you'll be worrying about gaskets before the oil start to cook... and yes i opened up the valve cover to replace the gasket as it's leaking oil ady (you can see the edges from the picture, heavy stains)

and yeah, after 10 laps or so the engine is basically in overheating mode but still managed by (basically just under the red line on the temperature meter lolz)
the transmission was in a worse state as the clutch is slipping already as the ATF overheated

that's what you get pushing stock standard engine/transmission/cooling system

hehe no chance try SR1 on the 4B10 yet, since i already can't wait to try Motul's 300v 0w20

Technically no because no more mapping tables. Instead of fuel cut,  it's more like the engine dunno what to do past the rpm your mapping tables defined

got 1k more rpm of mapping tables lo, until 7k rpm.

dun tink its natural gas base stock...all of them still group 3 esters...not yet PAO which they consider as group 4. definitely not the same product. if not mistaken, shell helix ultra is not formulated by SOPUS.

as for campro engines, i tink its a mass production engine with low QC, hence rough piston walls and the cylinder block itself. maybe FS oil is the only potion to this matter. thats y you see looks of ppl offering port and polish service for campro and able to lure out a few good bhps.
