technically 30 oils are thinner and mostly used by K cars in general
About performance, you have to feel it by youself

Yep. I forgot to write that my car is Proton Savvy which is a K car. So, the ideal of my car's engine oil will be 10w30 stated on the manual spec.
From what I read from this thread, the difference of 30 oils and 40 oils are 30 oils more to response performance and 40 oils more to protection than response.
Anyway, there's a sumo oil k-car performance semi syn 5w30. but since it's 5w, with Malaysian weather shouldn't be good right? Correct me if i'm wrong.

I need help regarding this..

Hello guys. I have one question.

What is the difference between 10w30 and 10w40? Okay, let's take Liquimoly engine oil 10w30 and 10w40.

For Proton Savvy which is a hatchback car with Renault D4F engine 1.2L. Usually should be 10w30 right? But I want to ask what if I put 10w40. What I know is 10w30 is thinner than 10w40 and is suitable for hatchback car which 10w40 is good for sedan car. But I'm sill confuse. Can help me please. smile.gif

Hi there, I own a Proton Savvy. Besides the silent. You use lm ceratec in your proton savvy got increase of acceleration? Like your car feel more lighter and pick-up after using it or just the same?
