Going to service my car. anyone try below which one more suitable for 1600cc?

MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-30
MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40

but i found that Liqui Moly only API SL/CF.
Shell or Eneos now already exceed API SN/CF.

is there really doesnt matter with API? Liqui Moly still better?
*
doesnt really matter. both of these oil not only meet their specs, but actually exceed the specs. Most of my buyers are not bothered with the API SL/CF anyways as it's already proven with results from pouring this oil in. RM118 10w40 MOS2

Never bother with any such product because 99% of those metal treatment product are snake oil. Do a google on 'snake oil' for engine and find out for yourself.
*
so.... why do Tri-point engineering use these for their Mazdas without failures? Their transmission never had any issues and coul last than more than 400whp, proven. And these guys in the states are VERY PARTICULAR in what they use

semi/full syn has nothing to do with your engine oil seals.
*
If it's petroleum based, it hardens the valve seals and any other seals in the engine by nature. If it's ester, it softens/keeps them soft.

SN is not always better than SM, fully synthetic is not always better then semi synthetic. I have customers boasing on using shell's helix ultra, mobil1, and whatever fully synth oil in the market. I sold them another oil at half of the price they paid for their previous oil and it performed much better.

Btw, I don't care wether it's an SL or SM or SN. As long as it produces results, and doesn't degrade over time.

Guys, do you all feel your car having the brand new fresh feeling everytime after an oil change?

In your opinion and knowledge, is it possible for a Petronas Synthetic 0W30 oil or 5W30 oil to have lower HTHS value than the mineral Petronas Mach5 10W30?
*
'

Sorry I've no idea dude, out of my circle of knowledge smile.gif. And I've no idea on the details of their oils' HTHS as I never really took the initiative to find out. As per mentioned, if comparing different brands, some SS oils performs better than FS oils from a different company. If you say Petronas' FS and SS comparison, I can't comment

newer saga i thought the original specs is xw40 right? cant go xw30?

btw, for almost all the saga (IINM) having rev cuts/limits on the ecu, i am not even sure if torco's worth it lol.
*
and proton uses xw50. LOL

I don't know which Proton or what year's Proton you are referring to. But I have seen a couple of Proton in present day showroom using 10W30 for ambient temperature up to 40 deg C.

COE themselves. Word from my BLM customers' mouth

Actually a lot of 10W30 was in SEMI based. You can use it if you are not rev up so high RPM for your car. Especially not more than 4.5K RPM.
*
do you any idea that my semi synthetic oils can outperform and OUTLAST most fully synthetic oils in the market?

Many of those people know nothing and never read the car manual either. So instead, I pick up the car manual and the manual said to use 10W30. Personally, I would rather trust the car manual than those people.

For a sincere question, you want your car last longer or just a few years? Actually if your car got engine oil, no matter you change it or not, your car still can move, just the life of the car engine can last longer or short. If you like to REV, choose higher Viscosity engine oil is help to protect your engine, lower viscosity is for economic use because it is thin and light, your engine can run very easier compare to higher viscosity engine oil.
*
Do you know that a Supra's recommended engine oil is xw-30?

That sounds so terribleĀ  sweat.gif
Any semisyn xW50 oil you recommend?
*
Like dares said, that would be downgrading your oil from a LiquiMoly to a "whatever" common oil in the market.

Just a silly question.
Since we Malaysian drivers do not need to look at the winter viscosity, why don't we just use monograde EO ?
*
you can. Royal Purple sells monograde, SAE30, SAE40
