My second OT bought last week without discount from Onitsuka Shangrila Philippines. By the way... my 1st Onitsuka Lauta Zodiac has a 25% discount bought at Onitsuka Makati also here in the Philippines.

@fixgd- hehehe. Obvious huh? I was actually looking for this OT a long time ago for my costume for our xmas party as Bruce Lee in the "Game of Death" but this kill bill colourway was released too late so I wore a yellow colored nike to the party. Now that this OT color is released... I bought the last pair same as my lauta w/c is also the last pair. too bad I didn't get a discount on my regular mexico66.

I believe the shoes he wore on game of death is a modified Onitsuka Tiger judging from the stripes... Also, I saw some pics of him wearing Onitsuka off-camera while shooting "Enter the dragon". he also wore Onitsuka on "Long street". i'm starting to believe that Onitsuka is his favorite shoes.

It's still a unique shoe brand here in the Philippines... maybe because it's expensive here and only 2 store outlets available both in Metro Manila only. It's the first time I bought a shoe as expensive as this. twice the price of my previous shoes even triple.

You know what? I think Malaysia has got better and wider ranges of OT than in the Philippines based on this forum 'cause you have more than 2 stores carrying the OT brand unlike here, we only have 2 stores it's just that they are official OT stores but they don't carry many models most are only mexicos. And some stores there have 20-50% discounts unlike here we only have 10% discounts the highest is 25%. Most of the time we have no discounts at all... really frustrating.

Tokidoki is rare now... even here in the Philippines, we have retail shops but no Tokidoki. We have one pair of Tokidoki released but only as sample sale and only size 7US for women when converted is only 5US for men, I think.

I'm neither Filipino nor Malaysian. I'm Chinese born here in the Philippines.

I'd have to pass by the shop tomorrow. It's been awhile since I've been to the shop. Hopefully tomorrow I could go there and have a look and see what's new. by the way, are you asking for deluxe classic colourway or nippon made?

oh yeah! all deluxe are nippon made. hehehe. What I meant was... "the classic colourway or the plain colored ones?" ok. I'll try to go there tomorrow, no problem bro.

I went to the Onitsuka shop last night and they told me that they never had stocks of any Mexico Deluxe variants. Also, the store clerk told me that they only have Mexico DX and will be releasing a new colourway. Even though we have Onitsuka official shops here in the Philippines... we still have limited models and supplies. Malaysia is still lucky to have so many stores that carry this brand. I believe somebody here in this forum bought a pair of Mexico Deluxe from a local store, right?

yup oo nga it's you matt15. hehehe. I can't believe it isn't released here in Phils. considering we have official retail shops here of Onitsuka. How disappointing.

Wow! Raul88, you must be rich. Onitsuka's are expensive for me to play futsal with. Just curious, how many pairs do you have? You must have many to abuse a pair on futsal.

My 3rd OT. nice colorway. simple yet classic.

@leymar7- that's an Onitsuka Tiger California 78. nice, simple and classic running shoe. But it's an old model already and been around quite some time now. I think I got the last pair of blue/white colourway.

I have the Lauta you are looking for but I'm in the Philippines. hahaha. It's not yellow/black... it's yellow/dark blue or navy blue.

The back part or the X part of the original Mexico66 Kill Bill colorway is black and the rear tongue of the shoe is not made of suede.
