Merce, greene, Wooster St? I only know it's on SoHo street lol, it's on the main street. Errm it's a corner shop, and you can see from outside through the glass door, they have shoe rack and showing the OT shoes, the shop is quite classy, unlike others, hope this helps.

Oh ya here is the shop name and address again:
Propel footwear
420 Broadway New York, NY 10013.
http://size.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servle...551__416852_-1_

ot does have this colorway, but the shoe itself does not have the white string on the strips.

It's too late. I'm already almost back in Malaysia, now stuck in Korea sad.gif
I guess a 3 day trip to NY is never gonna be enough. I'll go there again some day

Oh yea I suggest you just google map 'onitsuka in NY'. Tho it isn't really accurate but still, it gives you a few results and you can check it out in store.

Yeah, update me. I covered almost all the famous places from Central Park and below. Have you found a shelter yet? Check out this website. It's awesome.

www.airbnb.com

And get a map! GPS works great but sometimes when you're surrounded with all those shiny metal tall buildings it will disappoint you.
Get one at any subway station, and learn how to read it of course smile.gif

Stadium KLCC has started selling Onitsuka Tiger. But the choices are very limited at the moment. Hopefully, they start bringing in more near future.

more comfy i would say. especially on the sole, which is slightly thicker than mexicos too.

Added on July 14, 2010, 11:45 pmand not to mention it's broad and roomy at the forefront (unlike the mexico which is kinda pointy), and it's perforated too, which allows more breathing of ur feet.

so generally yeah, these are the strong points of the ultimate 81 that i'll consider to be more comfortable than mexico 66s.

if not mistaken, the ultimate 81 was inspired by the suction cups of the octopus' tentacles when mr onitsuka was dining in a sushi restaurant (dunno if i read the book correctly)
anyway (theoretically), the suction cups were claimed to provide more grip, just like the tentacles of the octopus. so i'd assume it to be more "grippy" than mexico but whether will it lose its grip on wet floor or not i don't know. haven't try it myself. someone care to volunteer?

haha. it's just from my personal experience after so many years buying and working with ot.

for the lautas, it's just the materials used and designs differ a bit. so i wouldn't say it affects much on comfort when comparing to their basic (core line) counterparts.
