QUOTE(i_bony @ Jun 16 2010, 06:36 PM) it means swype really does it like the tutorial in the utube is it? does it uses current dictionary? meaning if we are using manglish, is it easy to type or not? didnt see the youtube video before but you can add/delete words in the dictionary anytime, easily. composing messages is really a breeze now. the idea of sliding your fingers over the keyboard to "type" is ingenious. I registered for the beta trial 2 days ago and i received the invite this afternoon. truly agree with reiki_longtime that swype is da bomb la. It's one of the best apps that i have on my phone. wish they could support more languages in the future though. If they added japanese and simplified chinese, it would be perfect for me. |

QUOTE(jasonbourne222 @ Jun 16 2010, 09:59 PM) so basically, how long does the phone battery last?? by midnight must charge or what?? i would to ask the USERS of the phone...reading reviews doesnt help...u guys use it..so u all know BEST... The battery lasts about a full day with medium usage. But this is very subjective because my medium usage can be "light" to you. My medium use would be about 1 hour phone calls, updating fb every now and again, reading the news, surfing the web and light gaming. Not fantastic battery life i would say, but good enough for me Battery life was horrible when I first got the phone but within a week, it got much better. Guess i'm one of the lucky ones then. My desire's "pink hue" problem that seems to be bugging so many people isn't bad at all. Mine was set #62 or something. Bought it on the day it launched in KLCC

Was facing a problem where push notifications were not coming in from my gmail and i wasn't able to download stuff from android market, even though I was able to browse through the apps in the market and access gmail through my dolphin browser.
Found this remedy from the android market help forums. Hope this can be of help to someone who's facing the same problem that I was: 1. go to your settings, 2.then select "manage applications" , scroll down to 3. "Checkin Service" then select "clear data" 4. ."Download Manager" then select "clear data" 5. ."Google Apps" then "clear data" 6. "Google Talk Service" then select "clear data" 7. " Market" then select "clear cache" 8. ???!!! 9. Profit! |
