I haven't been in Msia long enough, but I have never seen any HTC commercial. The iphone's one are quite nice though.

If htc doesn't promote their products properly, nobody will know about them right?

I have another question, let say we download sms application, how do we set to use just that as our primary? Im having problems having redundant alert, the apps and htc sms alert

thanks in advance

I had the same problem after using Handcent. In the settings, you should find an option for Notifications. Just uncheck it. After that, you'll only recieve notifications from handcent only.

can change the ringtone to my customise ringtone ??

I wish I own an android phone right now. I didn't remember exactly how I did it but try this.

Download a music app like meridian or something else. When choosing a ringtone in Settings, it will ask you to open using the installed music app.

That's pretty impressive. Did you do any optimizations? like turning of live wallpaper, disable background sync, etc?

high-cap batt?
u mean above 1400 mah?crazy

Yup, they are available.

google for "nexus one battery replacement"

nexus one and htc desire battery are inter compatible. Look for innocell. I haven't tried them. Read the reviews first of you are interested in buying them. Try looking at http://www.nexusoneforum.net/ website.

Yeah, this shows that Maxis plan are expensive.
am waiting Digi now. Even I m on Maxis line (Value 30 plan) now, am plan for Digi to launch (if they plan to), and sign up a new line in Digi (if Desire plan similar to others like Legend plan now).

At that time I will hold 2 phones, one Maxia for calls and SMS, and another Desire for online.

So my monthly charge will be around 30(maxis) + 68(digi) = 98 (unlimited data), rather than 50(Maxis) + 48 (data, 500mb) = 98

Wouldn't higher capacity batt will have a bigger size physically? Or is it the same size?

So i guess they are selling now even without contract since no one is buying.  tongue.gif

There's no promotion for HTC desire, unlike iphone. This is why very few people are buying them doh.gif

Actually there is. Maxis advertised it @ The Star last Saturday

What about other newspaper? Don't forget Berita Harian/Utusan as well. Other mass media, like television - tv3/8tv and radio announcement - hitz.fm or era, etc?

What I was saying is htc doesn't invest on marketing very well. They can a learn a thing or two from apple.

It is such a pity if malaysian are not knowing that there exist a superior phone(IMHO) than iphone 3gs
