There is always some learning curve for smartphone like this.  You should buy it and play with it at home while browsing thru the User Guide.  **dun come here posting questions which answers can be easily found in the user guide like some of the new Desire users here**   

My wife always complain that her SonyEricson's interface is not user friendly like her previous Nokia (both are oldie phones). 

Thanks for dropping by... do checkout the review below, it'll show you the pros n cons of each fon's coming os... not to say that you are wrong, it's just that we rate desire high coz it fits to what we "desired" in a fon dat so far iphone cannot satisfy us... since iphone can satisfy you, you proberly won't find Desire "Desirable"..keke... at the end of the day, it's just everybody's personal pref over features vs performance vs style vs budget vs marketing.....

the 500mb data plan that i subscribed still havent active yet
n the result is rm380 data usage bill for 37k Kb usage

Any of you folks here have compared the Desire with iPhone? I know it's not apple-to-apple comparison (sorry, couldn't resist the chance to pun this) but compared in terms of the following areas:
- UI smoothness and speed
- screen image/video quality
- camera quality
- call quality - experience any drop outs
- speed of connectivity and browsing experience
- battery life

If it's easier, using rating of 1 to 5, 1 being "poor" and 5 being "excellent". So a comparo would look like this:

UI - iphone 3, desire 5
screen - iphone 4, desire 5
etc ...

Yape, will udapte you once I got my Statement. I dare not turn on the Maxis data now....Imagine if next month they told me your bill is more than 500rm....then i will be sick. I know i will never exceed the 500MB because im using my office wireless network while working and at home I have my 4 Mbps wireless broadband. So I dun see why i will exceed the 500MB, it just ridiculous.

Hey guys, long time reader/lurker; first (or second) time poster.

I initially got the same problem with you guys in regards of the Maxis statement mishap. Imagine that they messaged me sating that I owe them RM600 plus!

So I promptly replied to them that I am under the data plan, 3 gig per month to be exact, and I do monitor my data packets, which has not even exceeded 1 gig this month.

At first, the call centre guy tried to give me an excuse that probably I've been using more than monthly plan I've subscribed (Which is BS), and probably I've been using my phone outside Malaysia (another BS)

After I replied that what they suggested was utter crap, than only they said it's probably the system error.

What I got back from Maxis after my nasty feed back was that:

Data plan is capped at RM450. If you exceeded it, they'll automatically cut it off.

But that is what they say, and not what they did. :-P
