hi there, i wish those who rooted their desire can answer me on this, the rooting process stated we need a gold card but I read in another forum stating unbranded (unlocked) desire will not require a gold card to root. Can the experts confirm with me on this?
thx a lot

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Jun 8 2010, 10:09 AM) Also read the comment after the review.. Matt While this shows that apple is making headway in its mobile processor department, I hardly think that this is a fair comparison of processor speeds, given that the target of the 8250 processor is mobile phones and the iPad is a tablet. If you were to compare the A4 to say the 8×72 processor (1.5ghz dual core snapdragon platform aimed at tablet pcs) then you would have a fair comparison. Right now all you have is some numbers and a poor idea of how statistics and computers themselves work.

about the SMS report, usually when it fails it will appear under the notification space, or else it should mean sent. Btw, when you open your message inbox, you can saw a tiny icon of the right side of the message, that should mean the message is sent. Correct me if I am wrong =)

hi there, just to share with you all regarding the MMS issue. My HTC desire can send out MMS as well as receiving one. Solutions? Go to maxis page, mind you will be needing the APN settings for maxis 3g as well right, mine is not maxis set so the maxis set might already preloaded it. I dont think they preloaded the MMS setting for you.
Ok, the trick to make it work is, combine the maxis3g setting and maxis 3g MMS setting under one single APN setting. Because they doesnt share any field so you can combine them under one single APN setting and enable. Voila! Atleast it works for me!
