mine is maxis set and my friend has a european AP set.. my amoled screen was fine indeed but i saw his has a very obvious pink! anyone having it too.. how bout you z3r0717, urs is european set isnt it.. do u have that pinkish tint amoled screen.. i heard that it appears to be slightly faulty but can be fixed via an update fix.. i read about it on the internet.. i dont see u guys complaining but i sure do see my friend's unit has it.. when viewing it in low brightness, its a total pain

my desire also sees the htc sites as pink but thats not the issue.. the problem is, when im so used to my screen, once i sees his desire, i felt like i have an eye problem.. im sure that ur desire is not that critical since ur not complaining.. but for his set, when i placed next side by side to mine, with the same brigtness on, it seems like his screen was pinkish + purplish.. i advised him for a replacement but he says that he is cool with it..

i guess that tinted pink issue should be included in the FAQ of this thread.. maybe ppl didnt even know about it and thought that its just normal

minor yes, but ive seen a major one.. it is supposed to not display non web safe colour which leads to a pinkish display instead of grey but it can be nasty too as if it is a hardware failure.. it differs from set to set, after comparing mine to my friend's, now i know that mine was ok.. seems like maxis set is free from that as no one complained about it here..

it does not apply to maxis set, its actually SIS set.. mine has a SIS sticket on the back, so my guess is sis set is from the same batch too.. no harm getting AP, but plz sure to check ur screen either the pinkish tint is too obvious or not..

i dont think the battery widget has any significant effects on the battery life itself.. it is can be considered as almost accurate too so no hard of using one to monitor ur battery juice remaining..

that was the obviously pinkish tint i was talking about.. i compared mine to my friend's set but mine are quite better.. yeah, i do think that u should ask for a replacement.. its better to ask for a replacement rather than being silent and regret later.. the issue on the htc site is very common, but when ur actually seeing purple on the sense screen and pop ups, thats a major issue..
