Just downloaded Handcent SMS. WOW,simply WOW! Now I know what all the hype was about haha

It's soooo amazing! And so customizable! You can customize every single thing on this app! Right down to the colour of the divider line,how do you want the vibrate pattern to be,what do you want the icon to look like in the notification bar,its amazing! And its quick too,much much quicker than the stock HTC app. It loads up miles faster,and its sooo beautiful to look at messages now. I haven't tried ChompSMS but someone here prefers that to Handcent so I might just give it a try soon hehe

But to those guys out there still using stock HTC Message app,abandon ship! You're missing out on so much,as I've found out

Full multitasking? Desire also can what?

And yess the Galaxy S has a better screen but what the heck,Desire's one is already very Desirable

And IMO Desire looks way sexier and classier! And Sense beats Samsung's UI (its Touch Wiz iirc) hands down

But as far as I know,the easiest way to get full access to paid apps is by rooting and using Market Enabler. But another option is you can buy from some websites,then download the APK,transfer to ur phone,then install using Astro or other file managers. Or if you're cheeky then you can look for pirated versions

Hahah in this day and age,everything has pirated versions. U could try your luck and google for it,I've not tried it myself. Haven't really needed anything from the paid market. Or at least thats coz I dont know whats available there

And nup,I haven't root my phone yet. It's way too young,less than a month oni And I'm not sure I'll ever root it. I'm just waiting and praying Froyo comes early

Haha well I think the June 23rd rumours are incorrect,suffice to say. There's no way Desire will get it on the 23rd when even the Nexus One hasnt gotten the official update. So the June 23rd rumours are bogus to me. I do think HTC will update the Desire though,we just dont know when. It'll be stupid for HTC not to update their latest flagship phone in countries using GSM. In countries using CDMA,they have Evo and Incredible to worry about. HTC simply can't afford to not update these models,because they need these models to be up to date and able to compete with iPhone 4. So yea,I would say that HTC will most probably release the Froyo update for us. Cross fingers that it doesnt take ages for it to come

Lets say if I set my facebook to sync every hour,then what if I turn off my background data? Will it still sync every hour? or will it not?
