While many of us guys will go for the trackball aka nipple, I still prefer the optical joystick. It's a flat button which can prevent any accidental pressing. Besides, the trackball protrudes out from your phone and is constantly rubbing against your pocket so it will eventually wear out. Or worst, your keys in your pocket may accidentally scrape it off.
The Desire is actually pretty good looking. I've personally seen the N1 and now I'm holding a Desire, the feeling is almost the same but that one protruding trackball is quite a turn off actually. Haha Here's my review of the phone: http://blog.galvintan.com/review-unboxing-...-desire-part-1/ |

I second that. Plus the hardbuttons are easy to press without have to look at the device The Desire is actually pretty good looking. QUOTE(hakumiyashi @ Jun 9 2010, 09:38 AM) If your call is not that long and frequent then it can last for two days...My 1 day usage is around 1 hour call with gf, few short calls, sms, wifi (sometimes 3g when no wifi or the wifi is too slow) for weather, facebook, twitter, news and email updating (manual update when i m free and i always free, haha!), short gaming, just press and flip the interface for no reason (Just can't get my hand off for too long, haha!!) last night i installed the 3G Watchdog, to monitor the bandwidth usage. at the time i had 4 cities in the weather setting. i did a testing on how much data involve if you update the weather. with 4 cities, i notice the bandwidth consumption is around 2MB, or may be a bit less. so, for anyone with limited data plan, be careful not to update the weather widget with many cities too much, or you'll pay ransom to your telco... lol...
