1)We need to wear formal for the whole week of orientation? Is it true?
2)Acara Minggu Mesra Pelajar is Orientation?
3) I read in the Senarai Semakan utk Pendaftaran, it says need to bring 2-3 blue baju kurung, kasut sukan. What we actually need to do there? I am not Malay, where to find baju kurung???
4) It says need to bring Laporan Pemeriksaan Kesihatan. What is it? How to get?
*
1. Yes. Formal everyday as most of the time you will be at dectar during the orientation week.
2. Yes. Minggu Mesra Pelajar (MMP) is orientation.
3. Yes. For boys, formal white long sleeves, black pants, black shoes, and will be given a necktie. For ladies including non bumis, blue baju kurung is compulsory, and will be given a scarf.. The blue colour is actually light blue, refer to ukm logo. All three chinese in my group for titas presentation last semester wear the the baju kurung, i guess they didnt have other baju kurung.
4. All forms will be posted to you, and you are supposed to return a card, for matric card purpose.

2nd year in ukm next semester, doing biotechnology

Applying for ptptn is quite simple, the steps are:

1. First, apply online, use internet explorer
2. When the results come out, check, if you get then good
3. Proceed, print out and fill all the forms, will need pengesahan and penjamin
4. The ptptn rep will come on a specified date, submit the forms to them, settle

New student reporting in!

Course: IT (Intelligent System)
Gender: Male
Hometown: Kajang
College: Za'ba

Yes, I live soooooo nearby!!! But the thing is, IT was never in my choices. I dont wanna do courses other than bio-related. Right now, im trying my hardest to change the course to biotechnology or at least microbiology. Can some seniors enlighten me on what is Intelligent System all about? FYI, i was a matriculation student.
*
You can change courses but all in all it depends on your result and vacancy and you better do it ASAP, i myself changed course but missed a subject and need to retake, totally f***ed up my course planner
Luckily got dean list last semester, so i can register 26 credit hours for this semester

During minggu orientasi
For male student at the letter they said need to prepare 2 atau 3 helai baju kemeja lengan panjang warna putih.
Is it plain white?
Cuz I want to buy in different variety like with stripes or dots.
*
Sorry only plain white, but you can choose different fabric/designs.

O o
for example what elective subject do we have?
so we have to act fast to get a seat for it?
*
You will be given the list of elective courses you might choose from during your faculty registration and discuss among your friends and seniors which subject should be taken.

Yeah you should act fast, ukm online system is quite impressive.
Take it easy and a bit late, u lose the seat. However, you should frequently check, maybe someone will drop the course, so left a 'hot seat' for everybody.

haha! yea, taxi in KL are worse!! I agree!!  doh.gif
Anyway, there's a blue paper which written my kolej's name and ask me to write down my no. kenderaan!! Is it mean this paper is a pass for me to drive into UKM!?
*
No. The blue paper is supposed to be sticked on your car windscreen during registration day so the pak guard will know and assist you, they see the paper then show you the direction to your kolej, so no need to open your side windows and ask them. Last year its in yellow, i guess it is for the same purpose.

From the information, the kelulusan permohonan of the loan can only be check on the the 8th of July.
But Im going to UKM by 4th of July, how am I suppose to print all the documents and fill up the forms while Im in university/
What if the forms need parent's signature?
*
Tell your parent to print the forms and signs it before sending them to you.
But you have to give your ID and password to them so that they can access ptptn or email the PDF document.
Did it last year, when my poslaju arrived, only need a couple more things to be confirmed
