Hi guys, I'm planning to study BA in accounting in UKM Bangi, because I love to calculate a lot...
yeah, still planning since I'm still an upper 6 students which will finish in coming november this year....
I don't have friends who pursuing accounting in UKM and other public Universities as well, mostly there in those private Universities, which was costly and unaffordable for me...
therefore I came here to seek for some recommends...
Before that, I saw some posts that related to study accounting in UKM, they said that we need to study pentadbiran perniagaan in the first year only can be transferred or majoring in accounting in the second year and so on. After majoring in accounting then, it starts a new 4 years or continue as 2nd year?

Yes, when you enter UKM you will study under Pentadbiran Perniagaan and if you do well, you can apply to be in Accounting starting your 2nd year. Will continue as 2nd year.

i listed food science for UKM as my first choice. i was wondering if there is any seniors here who are currently studying food science ? as this course requires an interview to be able get in, what questions do they normally ask? and would i need to travel all the way to UKM KL just to attend the interview?

Recently she got the offer from UKM for the part time postgraduate master program.
Just that other from the offer registration and confirmation, she got received the time schedule for the two day welcome program.
Does that program is compulsory to go?

Can anyone here with access to UKM’s e-learning portal please PM me? I’m looking for copies of lecture notes for certain maths/stats subjects but I can’t find copies online.

Anyone know the part time PhD course for FTSM class (a few subjects that need to be taken before fully research) is after office hours or on weekend?

To answer my own question earlier, the research class in FTSM only will be conducted during weekdays .. no weekend class. So for PhD part timer, you need to negotiate with your employer. There will be only 1 session every week for consecutive 14 weeks.

7*2= 14 days annual leave burned

Dear all UKMians, I heard that there is public parking in UKM and it is RM3 per entry? How far is the walking distance from the parking place to the KTM station there? I plan to park my car inside UKM or nearby the KTM station there, please kindly advise me on that, thanks a lot!

Its bad for public Uni to be charging a parking fee within their land for students. Unless they provide alternative free parking areas on campus. The reason I say this is, its a public funded university and access to education should be free or only the bare minimum cost (and parking should not be a cost).
