I am from Sarawak. I reached UKM 1 day before, but better for you to call your hostel management and inform them okay if you are going 1 day earlier. Actually on the same day also no problem, the registration closed on 5pm if I am not mistaken. Call the hostel to clarify.

Yes. There are 2 semi-government college in UKM, one of the two is Zaba, that's why it is more expensive.

About, RM300++ per sem higher than normal college I think. Not so sure since I am not staying Zaba. But every year Zaba has lots law students so you not need worry to be alone.

Why? Because Zaba is a big college

Lacking of sleep, you will enjoy 3-5 hours sleeping hours on the whole week.

Anyway, bring at least >2 formal shirts, you will be required to wear formal whole week. There is no time for you to wash

Yes, all these will be handled by seniors.

Try to enjoy it, the timetable is pack.

Luckily I have passed through the golden time, but I can still remember it, just like happening last few weeks.

Yes, semi-formal is allowed. But it is advised not to wear jeans for the first few months. It shows disrespect to the lecturers.

No round-collar shirt is allowed, only with collar, paired with formal trousers.

And remember, no SLIPPERS.

1) Yes, depends on lecturers actually. Jeans actually can, but not the the first and second months. Formal skirts no problem, but must cover the knees. Other pants (not jeans) is accepted.

2) Either formal or baju kurung during registration.

3) Kettle is actually prohibited in hostel, but no people will check it. Better get a water-boiler (Like in hotel 1). And yes, we need it to cook maggi and milo

4) Depend on which hostel you stay, like mine, my block has approximately 20 rooms, and 4 toilets. Using which toilets is our choice.

5) Books no need, you will get a course outline when your first lecture. Then find the books in library and photostate it. But if you want to buy also no problem, but law books are expensive But normally, juniors will buy books from seniors. So, don't worry. You will be guided when you are in the faculty later on.
Of course have a notebook and some pens along to drop down any important things.

But I noticed I not not only the one who did that, lots students did so, all the names were noted down by the staffs.

1. I am also not sure about that since I am not taking architecture (Best way to affirm - call LAM to ask)

2. Yes, you can but you can't go out at night. Those security guards will only allow car with stickers to get into UKM at night.

First year is not allowed. Only up to 2nd year students are allowed to buy sticker.

Yes, KTHO has bicycle rental rite? If I am not wrong.

Agree, now finding car park is very troublesome. Many people those parks in restricted area will be found tyres being locked or get saman.

Haiz, my fren from Burhan, I forgot the number but 20 if I am not wrong, they only give 20 parking sticker for the "Burhan" hostel. My friend failed to grab it and he parked his car at UO and walked everyday.

He dulan and registered Zaba now.

When you are there, feel free to ask seniors. Especially in studies, maybe you guys will find kinda blur especially in first sem.

Maybe you can start to have a research in these 3 law papers which you will take in first sem..

Constitutional Law, Contract Law, and Malaysia Legal System.

And as an tips, lecturers like proactive students
