Hi. I'm a user of E5300, and I was wondering how much I can overclock it to. This is my rig: Intel Pentium D E5300 2GB DDR2 800mhz Kingston Galaxy 9800GT low power edition DFI Infinity P965-S Dark Edition (says it's one of the best OC mobo there) Normal dvd drive and 500gb WD Caviar Green 20" screen Thanks. New to this stuff and got no idea how to do

My cheap Celeron E3300 is now running at 4.4GHz, my Pentium E6300 managed around 4.1GHz. Should be around that level.

I don;t want to hardcore OC. Just enough to run my Fallout 3 laglessly (i got 50+ mods, so it lags heaps) and Bioshock 2. Guess 3ghz is good enough for that, but i don;t know what RAM speed i should run and etc.

if u want to get 3GHz, set the fsb to 240. multiplier at 12.5 and ram divider to 3:5. set the voltage to normal/default. dun leave it on auto.

QUOTE(amir_tengkorak @ Jun 5 2010, 06:12 PM) near to 800mhz 3:5 or 1:1? if your base clock is 200mhz, then using 1:1, your ram will be at 200mhz, or DDR2 400. if your base clock is 200mhz, then using 3:5, your ram will be at 333mhz, or DDR2 667.
