I've never experience such problem. I am not using tm router btw and my ps3 is wired.
My setup is like below

TM modem (dunno what its name) >> TM router >> My belkin router >> PS3

TM router is needed because i need it to connect to set top box for IPTV

need advice guys, which will be the best deal for PSN gaming:
Unifi or streamyx or P1?
I already have P1, but it lags CRAZILY. Did anyone use P1 and have zero lags?

I noe UniFi is very blazing fast, but it has 60 Gb cap rite? I will play it 24/7, so 60 Gb is enuff to play PS3 online everyday or what?

And streamyx has no limit, but very slow. at the same time cheap.

Advice guys?

Hi all,
I have Unifi using the default DIR-615 router provided by TM. Both of my PS3 and PS Vita unit at times have difficulty on connecting to the PSN network wirelessly. Somtimes when it is connected, after a while PSN network automatically disconnects itself. However I usually don't face any of these issues using my Yes 4G Huddle though. Any advice on what I can do to connect smoothly to PSN using Unifi? Thanks.

Just discovered a similar problem with mine. I was getting disconnected from PSN as well as the EA servers every few minutes earlier and i tried port forwarding but failed as the guide i followed was not the same as the DIR 615 page i have and i couldnt configure it.

I just decided to disable the wireless net on the modems page and i did not disconnect at all for almost 2 hours. Then i turned it on again and within 3 mins i got disconnected from EA servers then 7 secs later, disconnected from PSN.And all my brother was doing was using twitter and browsing. Error 8002AD23 IIRC.

Im gonna try it again later by disabling the wireless option and see if its still the same.

Like I said in the above post, just go get yourself a custom router and save yourself all the hassle and frustration.
Check at www.klseet.com.

The little bit of investment well worth it.

Thanks, checking it out now. Your advice is to replace the current DIR 615 with another modem/router,and not add another router into the equation/connection,am I right?

Sorry for the stupid question but ive read a few posts about people "adding" another router and it solved their problem.

You can do either, adding or just replacing it all together.

For me, I replaced my DIR-615 entirely.

Bro, do you mean I can hook my Belkin modem router to Unifi modem and replace the stock unifi router? Cause I often experienced WAN connection issue lately(Green turned to Orange light), very annoying man...

Should be able to. I remember someone earlier in this thread did something the same with his Belkin router as well.

Anyone using any of the latest ASUS modem-router with PS3? If yes, how's the general performance. I am still using Streamyx with Aztech modem-router. Good overall performance, no problem connecting wirelessly to any of my consoles. Planning to install Unifi once it is available at my area.
