Hello, I just bought Netgear network switches from eBay, also need Sirim permit? Anyone have any experience with this. From what I read, mostly radio based product, bandwidth related product, BT that need SIRIM permit. But this one it's just network switch.

Hi newbi3s,
I need your help !
My Japan counterpart ask me about question of Sirim sticker and COA.
I called Suruhanjaya Tenaga but they ask me to read their online booklet myself T_T

My question is:
The manufacturing factory is in Japan, under Japan company. They want to apply to the SIRIM for "Production Certification Scheme. "
We are Malaysia registered company but not really related to the importation.
Can we apply the COA on behalf the Japan company ? (or on behalf the actual cognisee in Malaysia?)

Really hope you can help >_<

Managed to settle it on my own. Just downloaded the form, print it, and mail it to them. It's not that expensive. Just rm19 I think for one router.

For the tax, maybe you can check with your courier but for sirim it depends on custom. If your item already stuck with custom, you can try contact Ansarcomp 01132909022 for further assistance.
