laser treatment is a bit too scary + expensive since i am just a student. read somewhere before that AHA/BHA complex can minimize pores. not sure is it true or not.

Erm, I think you should focus more on hydration (moisture)
may be you can find those product which have hyaluronic acid
example for cheaper range will be hada labo (can be found at guardian) or neogence (can be found at sasa)

i find clinique pore minimiser refining serum useful though..
and the Skin Action Sebum Gel from cellnique helps alot in clearing up my skin, therefor smoother surface smaller pores...

the main key point to reduce pore size is to cleanse your skin properly, remove impurities from inside like black/whitehead, and give chance for your pores to shrinkkkk...

Actually do more mask is good way help in shrink the pore size .I personally experinece that. I one week do 3-5 times mask.haha

Big pore got 2 reason, 1 is face less hydrating, 1 is cause by acne, pimple. If you got oily and pimple skin, please don't use too mositurize toner or cream, it will make it worse.

Hi girls ,

I read a review from one of my fav youtube guru . Can check her blog here :

http://bellamakeup.blogspot.com/2010/07/na...40-seconds.html

The product name is Nanoblur , and it will blur out the look of pores and fine lines . Use it after your moisturizer .
It's only USD19 . I have not try it yet though , not sure how it will work on me .
But she totally convinced me to try this . It's in my wish list now drool.gif

Here is the website of the product : http://www.indeedlabs.com/

I recently read a blog post about DIY home mask for reducing pores . It's simple , just need 2 ingredients -- oat & yogurt . You could read more about this post here " HOMEMADE OAT RECIPE FOR SMALLER PORES "

I yet to try this DIY mask ,if you would like to try it , then after trying ,update us the result. smile.gif

Big pore problem is due to dirt + oily skin. It is recommend to clean + mask more frequent, and scrub at least 2 times a week. :-)

hi daisy :wave hand:
i cannot comment about my skin, but i think its good enough and im a student too. so i really understand about the budget.
what i notice is, whenever i din clean my face properly (too tired, went to sleep without washing the face for a week or something), my pores will annoy me to the max. same thing when i never care to moisturizes my face, the pores will look bigger too.
i've been using hada labo moisturising lotion (the white one) for almost a year, and i can say that i really like it. but u really need to be rajin and allocate some time in doing it because it takes time for the lotion to be absorbed into your skin. pat, pat, pat until u feel it is ok to stop. but you still need to use moisturiser. a light one is sufficient i think, depends on your skin type.
and for cleaning regime, sometimes u cannot simply rely on ur facial wash only. use toner, it helps. i think Simple is ok, but some might not like it. use make up remover, u really need to use it if you wear make up or sunblock.
and steaming ur face might helps too.

Hada Labo:

Cleanser, the Tamagohada one is really suitable for my oily combination skins. My sister and friend agree too. The skin become less oily and also not too dry.
Toner, Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion is the best toner I ever have. Not reducing the pores drastically, but definitely less oily.

By the way, also depends on what you eat. =)

I think a good diet & frequent visit to my dermatologist helps me a lot. I did laser treatments, I know it sounds scary but many women do it nowadays. My skin is smoother, pores are gone and it got rid of my freckle problems, I'm just using normal skin care, no need dump so much money on products anymore.

FYI,
pored cant be reduce to smaller size as it's genetic...
u can try to google and there are few of articles about it...
Thus, the products on sell are not to minimize the pores...
is to thinner the layer of the skin
its like apply simen or reduce the sime...same theory goes to Laser smile.gif

I've problems with pores too. I dont really take care my face and i started to use skin product started this year. For pores, SK2 toner is very good but costly. Then i tried the hada lado. The cleanser BHA/AHA is very good for minimize pores but the toner is not that effect on me cause it's a bit oily after 1 hour i applied on it. Now i changed to Naruko Tree Line (Taiwan brand). Can said that it was the best among the product i tried. Anyway, i'm still trying on this product. Will update the result soon. If got budget, can go for Clarisonic cleanser machine. You can try to look for the review on the youtube smile.gif
