It's the same thing except for the start. One way to get to your internet connection properties is by

left-clicking on the task bar icon > Connect or Disconnect > right-click on your preferred connection > Status > Properties > Sharing

or

Control Panel > Network and Sharing Centre > View Status > Properties > Sharing
