yerp... having drilled holes on a brake rotor makes it easy for heat, gas and water to be quickly moved away from the rotor surface, keeping the brake performance strong...
but becareful using drilled rotors on your vehicle is that all of those holes tend to weaken the rotors. After repeated stressful driving, the rotors can even crack. So better get aftermarket rotors.. This post has been edited by Lord_sepulchrave: Jul 28 2010, 03:13 PM |

dunno but most aftermarket brake pads have heat ranges..
and if you are running cooler then what their heat range is, your braking are gonna feel like shit.. and fyi, cross drilling is about weight reduction..most exotic cars use them because they are using HUGE rotors and if those were solid they would be heavy |

yerp.. as for me i think more surface area > more heat > more grip.. but i might be wrong..

last time service my car at platinum mutiara damansara..
after finished service, suddenly one of the SA came apologized to me.. guess what, some buta mechanic accidentally hit some tiang there and got nice long dent and scratch at my front bumper... i request for new bumper and ask them to top up my fuel back.. after that incident, i never ever service my car to so called platinum.. so watch out guys, because that day, not only my car... some exora also dent already...
