QUOTE(dattebayo @ Aug 13 2010, 10:16 AM) u guys do cornering at high speed ? I didn't notice the kok kok sound when cornering also.. but I corner very gentle la, Persona always understeer, cannot corner at high speed for me its not during high speed cornering.. it was during turning into a junction.. but only happened uneven road.. at high speed, so far so good. QUOTE(Hypro @ Aug 13 2010, 09:52 AM) That is very command sound for PE, but it can be solve, just send your car to any SC, my car also have that problem, I sent it to PJ 227 SC, all problem solve should i wait for the 1k KM service.. or bring it to SC asap ? it only happened on uneven road so far. This post has been edited by Beogatts: Aug 13 2010, 10:45 AM |

QUOTE(Kevio @ Aug 14 2010, 05:33 PM) Juz wondering, does the new PE need to follow "engine run-in" (i think that's what i heard some ppl call it) - ie., cannot go above 80km/h or 100km/h before the first 1000km service? it just Not recommended since it is still new.. furthest mayb 100km/h still ok.but it is also Not recommended to rev more than 3k RPM. its ok to go above 3 but not everyday.. >.< i believe for those persona manual drivers cant stand to rev more than 3k even thou still below 1k mileage |

QUOTE(Kevio @ Aug 15 2010, 12:45 AM) Thanks for the feedback guys! well..i believe bugatti supersport was goin above 400km/h already, tested by james in top gear, before reaching 1k km service I was told that with new technology in all new cars do not need to do so, right? Is it because Campro is still kind of old tech? All those new japs or europe cars do not need to maintain <3k rpm & <100km/h, right? Or was I being given the wrong info? Confused... |

QUOTE(IceBikers @ Aug 16 2010, 10:54 AM) PE b line auto, I just changed stock brake pad to Bendix Metal King Titanium brake pad, RM125 from kaitospeed + RM20 labour. The effect is good, solve 90% of ngek ngek sound, and i able to do sudden stop(previously unable to do sudden stop with stock pad) but i still think the brake isn't up to the standard yet, however compare to stock brake pad it improve a lot and i can drive more confident. Mayb due to the brake pump/servo isn;t good enuff(as i heard, PE b line use gen2 1.3 pump/servo) i agree..it isnt good enuf.. n feel like single layer servo only. Is it really single layer?think of change brake hose in future p/s: proton risk driver life. Added on August 16, 2010, 10:56 am -anyway to improve the beam? -i'll try to locate the nut. How actually we adjust it? Any reference how should we adjust the angle? any min or max angle? wondering if if we can fit gen2 1.6 servo in |

QUOTE(IceBikers @ Aug 17 2010, 10:23 PM) I believe our M-line and below are using single layer. U can test another car with double layer. u can feel 2 pumping when u press the brake.QUOTE(naley @ Aug 17 2010, 12:32 PM) i'm doing a research for persona bodykit and i found this web..very nice.. hey im lookin forward to it too.. promote kit seems nice? http://monstermodz.net/msia/?page_id=460 QUOTE(Kevio @ Aug 17 2010, 11:46 PM) i noticed a lot ppl mentioned that the stock brakes is bad and not safe...is it really that bad that the stock brakes will put u at risk of accidents (both minor or fatal)??? nah.. aftermarket pads are just for better braking power and still consider better safety |
