Haven't. Waiting bank to send the document to dealer, after that dealer will apply K1. Once K1 ready, then only can send the car for registration. This process may take around 1 week.

but yesterday drive my waja at 120knh... then the new persona potong me... realy fast... i guess around 150~160kmh..

Must be habis pantang lor... Mine after run in period i whack it also mah.... testing.

Persona can hit 160kmh pretty easily... so far on my persona AT i ever hit 175kmh on straight flat road. again.... was testing it

what was ur break in milleage?

Actually some of the cases when car get into fire related to human error. Ask those insurance adjuster will know...hehehe

BMW X5 got poked hard at the butt also caught fire ....burnt habis.

Before the car get info fire, it has sent into somewhere ..for example: accesories shop or bla bla to mod this repair that. It is not user problem, it is human error...

Added on June 24, 2010, 3:37 pmyea i hate Proton to the max because of their shitty car designs in the past and out of this world crappy shit QC. but end of the day i drive one. i also dunno why. but i think it all boils down to budget. and furthermore, Persona is one of the best budget car with good QC and build in this segment. for a car this size, this good QC and build....for this price.. aduh... what more to ask. after all, Proton woke up and came out with the Persona with much better QC if compared to its past models to save its ass from being fried to hell.... So far its been pretty good.... so what the heck right?

to me... its a poor man's sedan.

if i have enough budget i would drive either a Camry or a used BMW in the first place. but too bad.... i dun

i was thinking about fire extinguisher should installed on every vehicles..but thats must be quite costly.
it was a year ago im thinking of it but dint take as serious as well.

Test drive it to check whether got fault or not (but the truth.. had to test drive it because cannot tahan waiting ady ) But yes i did test drive their own car before booking it

I'm thinking to get the small fire extinguisher inside my car. Saw the SRII brand cost around RM80 for 1 liter size.

ok the outcome is they change another regulator for me, so in total i already change 2 regulator and 3 power window motor just because of this klok klok sound. they say is very common to have this sound during hot weather because of the material used is not a good quality, but mine is 24 hours got sound whenever i press the power window motor. i refuse to close the case, i told them i need one month to monitor it.

i ask them if after few days the sound came back, what can you do for me ? they just told me they will bring their higher management to have a look on my car, don't know look for what.

Mine like urs afternoon hot time sometimes only got noise when wind-up only. Wind-down dun have sound


My persona also got 1 more problem. When driving can hear like rubber or plastic rubbing sound. I now suspecting is the door trim causing it , got 1 or 2 screw loose liao, cannot tighten, need to ask SC check when 6k service

mine also got sound when mid day...dont bother it as long as it working

but, at rear door passanger side...got grease mark on the mirror, n the other side sound since day one everytime...

should we use WD-40 to apply on those mirror side rubber seal? or any good lubrication recommendation?

I'm also going to give up liao if this time the problem still exist after a while.

As long as it still able to wind up and down then have to live with it lor.

reading the others comment, it is like standard package coming together with persona Mine also "klok" whenever i use the windows first time of the day. After that no more sound ady. The next day, still "klok klok klok"
