Hi guys, ive recently posted a reply about my Persona FC. 9.2l/100km
After resetting the FC, its now 10.6l/100km! I drive mostly in Melaka town. I could be due to the constant acceleration n breaks but 10.6? Thats kinda crazy right? Any recommendations?

eah thts quite crazy. urs is M/T or A/T? still below 1k km or above?
try installing a voltage stabilizer.. the one tht has good review. Installed mine 2 days ago, then yesterday i drove half city and half highway = 8.1L//100KM.
Check out the ones in Automotive Garage section.. got one seller selling DIY VS and one seller selling Power Booster VS.
if u wana do more, of course..changing to good plug cable n spark plugs.. good semi-sync engine oil.. air filter..changing to lite rims blush.gif

Any of Persona Elegance owners here have weird auto shift patterns? My company's new elegance auto shifting sucks like hell compared to my 09 model. It somehow hold onto the 3rd gear after overtaking cars and it takes quite a while to shift into 4th. It downshifts way too easily also.

Compared to my 09 model. Oh, Elegance model the fan noise is felt more in the cabin too. Door fabric also thinner feel. Interior fitting are lacking "tightness" as well. That is my finding today when i first sat in PE version.

weird hmm.gif
i thought PE version should improved.
maybe ECU still in learning process..new car wub.gif

QUOTE(Kevio @ Aug 26 2010, 11:55 PM)
just wondering about a few things:

1) RON95 or RON97?

2) is it possible to install the seat belt light since it already comes with the indicator on the meter?

3) is it possible to install a ring light around the ignition key area like Wira?  quite difficult 2 put in the key at night or dark area..

4) is the door lock sound loud normal - ie, when u lock or unlock your car, the sound of the locks going up & down produces a loud noise...

5) if change the original cd/radio/usb player, does it means that the remote buttons on the steering wheel will become useless?

thanks...  notworthy.gif

No, wo my car milage is already 63000km. I got it 2nd hand. And i drive as gentle as possible to lower the FC but it seem to stuck at 10l/100km. Sigh.
I read somewhere about formating the ECU or something like tat at SC. Will it help? Do you know anywhere in Mlk does installation for VS?

usually the FC shown on the meter is not accurate as compared to the manual calculation
8L/100KM is city drive or highway? it means 12.5km/l.. that's okay. is this your average FC ?(include city drive & highway)

10.6L/100km? that translates into 9.43km/l. so this is the average city driving reading?

RM990 including watever shuld b installed.. its 15" .. coz i didnt have enuf budget to straight away change to 16" or above. tongue.gif
trade-in default tyres, they only take 400-500 sad.gif
so just use the same tyres.

they were all weigh the same. 90% same weight as the ori japanese made.
i use the same tyres.. only changed rims.
including installation with balancine, valve n center cone = RM990 gone cry.gif
the shops didnt have many choices for good looking 15" .. but o well..as long as it looks ok n lighter rims. nod.gif
will swap to 16" after putting on bodykits. sweat.gif

Guys, i drove to genting 3 days back. During downhill, when i hit the brakes, it will come out the screeching yiiii sound (occasionally). And the when on the highway, when i hit brakes again, the sound gone.

After 3 days of normal driving, i did not detect any sound during braking.

Is there anything wrong, or its just overheating?? blink.gif blink.gif

Btw, stock pads with 4.8k mileage.
