my SA said my car already arrive but not yet register till loan already sign and downpayment have been made..

how long it takes to bring home the car after car loan agreement have been signed?
when we should pay the downpayment?

normally, if car available.. where they park the car?.. inside the showroom?

i need to be sure the car available... if i dun see with my eyes... how i want to know they already have my car... right?

p/s: i buy the car with authorised sales dealer for proton edar.. not a big showroom.. can fit around 3 - 4 car inside..

-Yes. Drop gears is the way to go during emergency braking OR while slowing down at high speeds. Just beware of the speeds u are on and drop gear accordingly without over-revving the engine till over the red line. It ain't good for both engine and gearbox.

wow u fulfilled my long time wondering about if that works! always wanted to try it out but don't dare at all. finally u "tested" it and proven it! hahaha... yes it is the ECU coming to play sensing that the speed ur traveling is over the selected gear's max limit. the ecu sensed it and automatically does not allow that inappropriate gear to engage. -applies to auto only .

guys! my friend just got his brand new vios G spec facelife version number plant "WUB 20XX"...
he is so "LC" want to challenge my elegance, from 0 to acceleration and till top speed...
in terms of engine cc and horse power is lower than persona a bit, but on the other hand, the body weight is 200kg lighter than persona and he is using 185 60 15R and persona is using 195 60 15R.
i scare persona will lose due to weight and wide tire drag.

any command on this? just a friendly testing on our car capacity only... but scare that persona will...

Took it on a maiden voyage all the way from Ipoh to Kuantan! [o.O]

Anyways, some questions from a newbie auto-transmission user:
1. Noticing that it lacks power when going uphill (Genting road). Kancil oso potong me like nobody's business. What gear should I use when going up inclines like these?

2. I hate the latency between pedal and engine response. Since it's the fault of the drive-by-wire system, is there any way to improve this?

So that means if driving at around 80-90kmh & suddenly need to slow down immediately, just shift the gear from "D" to "L" will not spoil the engine or the gear box??

Will it cause the car to jerk suddenly?

Persona pick-up is weaker than Vios, but when the distance is increased, it will have different ending

Actually, what they say is right. Vios is quite small when two ppl with a normal Asian man body size sitting side by side in the front sit. Our shoulder is quite near to each other. But our persona still have some shoulder distance...

actually we can say.... saga is same class with vios.. and persona same with toyota altis.. i try toyota altis 1.6 and compare with persona.. overall persona is better... but altis rear seat is much more better then persona.. persona rear seat too straight already

After 1k service tuning engine, now my MT 5th gear 100km/hr 3000rpm, i think it was too high.

However, after taking car was found a few issues as follows:
1. The back door (both side) would be more difficult to close and need to use some force.
2. When on the power,  there will be eeeeeeeeee sound near the dashboard. Even after engine n power turn off, the eeeeee sound will remain for a long time, at least 3-5 minutes.
3. Air conditioning always kick in, and a loud wuuuuuuuuuuuuuu sound will be heard ... Is this normal? Quite annoying..

There is no such thing is trouble free car.

I tried to remove the rubber and still cannot, no different, still need to use force
Yours is normal, that the sound of engine checking(i suppose) whenever the ignition is switched on and will go off after a few seconds.
Mine is extra eeeeeeee sound from the dashboard

Today i also found another problem, there is sound when i take turn left on rough face then a right U turn on a rough surface, i supposed it can be solve by installing the valve thingy?
