guys
how quiet our cabin are compare other car...

my car sound insulation quite good but the engine sound quite loud when drive >120kmh..
im thinking to do sound proofing.. is it worth it?

p/s: anybody have interior pic during dark which we switch on the lamp... mine only orange colour at radio, aircond panel and auto gear panel.. only meter panel get white n red color... i thought persona auto gear for N should be green

i do believe proton can make or already made a quality car...
the problem is their response really slow when to overcome problem that appear when the car already on road..
which many of us complaint about... buzzz sound at dashboard, knocking sound.. etc...
i owning PE highline, and already got a car... but after 8 days when my car should be delivered ,car already at showroom but send back to SC due but facing alarm problem... u see.. taking 8 days just to solve alarm problem...

like the buzz sound at dashboard... its already spread out widely in internet and yet, proton still delivered the car which same faulty buzz sound that easyly fixed (just change ICM relay).. why they not hired somebody just to red rumours in internet n report to top management so they can take fast action...

i already list down few car in mind...

1) kia forte,
2) honda civic fd
3) honda city
4) nissan sylphy
5) camry 2.0
... no dugong as it really ugly and wasting my money only..

However, my leader use "will breakdown" wira...
my boss use myvi..
and my operation manager use Avanza...
if not mistaken, my operation manager salary > RM15k and yet only drive avanza..

so me to use above car... lol... malula to buy better car..
opt for persona as everybody know this is 'rakyat marhaen' car...

however... my tech using honda fd2, suzuki swift and one using accord... so kaya la tech nowadays

need confirmation...
our persona wiper control stick when setting at first level (on/off run)..
we cant adjust the timing like waja... even the highline also cant adjust...
or its only me...

u're lucky ur fan turning after 5 min.. mine no turning anymore unless i drive for a long journey..

'tak.. tak.. tak... sound is normal when metal cooling...
even my old waja have that and still can achieve 180kmh .. for info.. my 2002 waja auto...

but now using persona e high line... max speed right now 170kmh.. scare to go higher..

maybe can get 450km at 1/4 level..
right now... i already travel 2012km....

its not lack of power..
it only that u're not familiar with drive by wire..
i also face same problem like u before..
now after 2k, i already can estimate when the gear may change with pedal control.. although still not familiar yet
but i can feel the power.. just need to know the power band

how do we know which batch consider 2nd batch...

I pump

front 220~230kpa
rear 200~210kpa

its base on 3 relays which i believe dont have enough power.. slighly lower from needed..

thats during my electronic project which show same symptom if not enough power...
the contact inside relay run 1 point to another point rapidly instead should be only 1 point when energized..

Is there anything we can do to improve sound insulation for our PE...
I just read review of Autofoam but if not mistaken out PE also fill with that.. Not sure which pillar or chassis
engine noise level I can say quite loud when drive above 120kmh.. my old 2002 waja better than that(but road noise... )
thinking to opt bitumen (raamat maybe) in the next project at my 4 doors..
Not sure its already install or not but base on my waja.. its not...
after install it can feel improvement especially when we passing lorry / 2 strokes motorcycle at highway

any idea?
for those who already done sound insulation (for persona only).. can share with me?..

basicly its just the switch with 1 way in and 2 ways out...
the problem not about giving the high power flow... but to do switching (energize the magnet) there are power needed and what I encounter during my project, i give slightly lower than needed (slightly lower than min) and the buzzing sound happen.. and its sound really like what we encounter at our persona... still high power will flow but like on/off...
we will not feel that as it really fast and voltage drop will not notice..

from the ICM board that SC show me, I can see 3 relays... and im sure its from 3rd parties...
still no news how proton to solve it..

yup..

knocking sound also happen to waja.. mine 2002 auto..
3 month ago i change my absorber link, bushes and absorber to GAB...
and suddenly.. the knocking sound gone...

now using PE high line..
not yet encaunter knocking sound...
but the eeeee sound is confirm...

my seatbelt indicator lit up few second after i insert car key and switch on..

check mine...



but i dun believe also as after my calculation... i got 8.1l/100km...

my current FC with current mileage ... 3450km





mmmm.. looks a bit better than my waja 2002 1.6A....

yup... its just show awhile when u switch on...

did u change tyre series to 55?

like i said, check ur tyre size..
previously i drove waja with 55 series tyre...
at 3~3.1k .. my meter show 110kmh..
after change to 60series, at 3.1k rpm, reading show 120kmh...

currrent Persona Elegance using 60 series n if not mistaken, the old one use 55 series..
so u get what i mean...

mmm... mine PE H line
100 kmh ~ 2600rpm
110 kmh ~ 2900rpm
120kmh ~ 3100rpm...

as u know our gearbox can learn the way we drive... spiritual or relax mode...
before we want to set this, we need to free the memory first with take out -ve battery connection a few second..
start running, u'll feel the gear change not smooth/not properly tune..
this is because, gearbox try to adapt ur way of driving..

take this opportunity to drive at highway at 90kmh so it can set for highway cruising purpose..
why 90kmh <--- recommended for manufacturer for low consumption

after it set, u may drive for city usage.. but few thing u have to take note...
pickup feel slower due u set ur gearbox for cruising purpose
u'll find that gear change at lower rpm...
if u set for spiritual drive... hantam kaw2..
after it adapt, ur gear change will change at higher rpm...

but the best way, skinning ur leg...

reset ur fc reading by push A button till it clear...
then drive as normal..
u'll see ur average fc after drive a while...
