[quote=jackyap84,Jul 28 2010, 01:00 PM] wow... how much? can original disk rotor support hole? i heard ppl said original disk rotor if make hole, the disk will break. Complete with installation is RM 140... Mechanics punch the whole between the frame (if you can see the frame between the two rotor)... Hard to explain.... it did not break the structure of the disc rotor actually Attached thumbnail(s)

yerp... having drilled holes on a brake rotor makes it easy for heat, gas and water to be quickly moved away from the rotor surface, keeping the brake performance strong... but becareful using drilled rotors on your vehicle is that all of those holes tend to weaken the rotors. After repeated stressful driving, the rotors can even crack. So better get aftermarket rotors.. This post has been edited by Lord_sepulchrave: Jul 28 2010, 03:13 PM

or use a slotted disc which is way effective and last longer than drilled, but u need to replace your brake pads often This post has been edited by heavencloud: Jul 28 2010, 03:29 PM

i hv read from other forums, try not to drill original rotor. drilled rotor may help in heat dissipation but it also mean the surface area of contact for braking is reduce as well n therefore may not give optimum braking.. besides the original rotor may nt be able to withstand the brakin force after drilled because it has been weakened by the drilled holes.. go for aftermarket brake pads / rotor for better braking..

dunno but most aftermarket brake pads have heat ranges.. and if you are running cooler then what their heat range is, your braking are gonna feel like shit.. and fyi, cross drilling is about weight reduction..most exotic cars use them because they are using HUGE rotors and if those were solid they would be heavy

My point fix to original spot of the persona default grounding point..only use thicker cable u can try to look ur car for nut have E letter . that is the grounding point...
