Hey guys.

Any idea if we can use the AUX IN mode on our persona(before elegance model) embedded HU for iPhone or iPod? Anyone done this before?

There isn't a cable/connector out from the original HU but i suppose there should be a jack/hole hidden somewhere. This is because there are 3 Modes built-in by default: CD, Radio and AUX In.

Pls share if you guys have done it before. I don't wanna spend extra for a new HU + bracket and lose the steering volume control function. sweat.gif

It depends how you think...

For me, i would buy a cheap good car to go from point A to point B.

1. now a days, accidents don't give warning... although you are very careful driver, going turn corners with the right speed, slow down on junctions, you don't kacau other driver and other driver won't kacau you. well, this is not totally true... you can't explain those cars which lost control suddenly driving towards you and BOOM! the accident occur and its not your fault!... you know what i mean...

2. you car just park at the right place at the right time and you when shopping, come out just to see your car door got other ppl's car color with a little dent... or worst, your car being knock on the door or bumper with a large patch of other ppl's car color...

3. And not to mention those ppl who like to write words on your new car or old car with new paints with their keys...

4. Other car with the same level as Persona. (vios, city, mazda 2 and etc)... THEY COST MORE IN MALAYSIA only! I think you all should know this, all these cars actually cost the same price as our Persona. I was thinking, why the shit should i pay more that doesn't worth that much in the global market? letting the "special body" earn the extra? no way man! not with my hard earn money!

all these too added into thinking of buying what car smile.gif

Old story told for the umpteenth time. Can we focus on something more positive like practical enhancements eg. starter switch cylinder light, interior LED lights, good accessory shops, replacement parts etc.

previously..
before thinking to opt persona...
i already list down few car in mind...

1) kia forte,
2) honda civic fd
3) honda city
4) nissan sylphy
5) camry 2.0
... no dugong as it really ugly and wasting my money only..

However, my leader use "will breakdown" wira...
my boss use myvi..
and my operation manager use Avanza...  doh.gif
if not mistaken, my operation manager salary > RM15k and yet only drive avanza..

so me to use above car... lol... malula to buy better car..
opt for persona as everybody know this is 'rakyat marhaen' car...

however... my tech using honda fd2, suzuki swift and one using accord... so kaya la tech nowadays
sweat.gif
*
some ppl does not put preference on their cars ma..
or mayb the ops manager got some luxury car at home. brows.gif
u might not know those tech spend everything tat masuk to their pocket .. biggrin.gif
dugong n city quite expensive. if need to choose one, i would opt for dugong J manual tongue.gif cheapest n most important it's manual n i will install trd bodykits thumbup.gif
imo dugong is a car that will only look good with bodykits..

test drive New hondacity before. engine is loud, car is heavy.perhaps it serve better in highway

Just got my car PE smile.gif H-Line Black

Everything in the car... was rather ok... except for
1) HUGE BUBBLES at side windows (had them tore off and replaced with security tint though)
2) Back seat.. couldnt lock...
3) Back-left side door.. couldnt shut that well like wat others have mentioned...
4) The rubber at the right roof seems like it was sticked well in place

besides that...everything else seems to be rather ok.
Btw.. did some research (more to googling ) on the ICM relay "eeeee" sound, seems like it also exist in cars like BMW also... but well.. mine....only heard it once when was getting the car.. havent heard since then

Use screwdriver loose & adjust the door hook. Then tighten it back lo...

Those have metal sound , is it comes from below of ur seat ? i did checked mine and found out that the ring to hold the wire between the seat railing loose out. So i put back the ring at it place and use the wire tape , and taped it ...(for my case ) now driving the car can say no more noise. tongue.gif

bro, i still facing metal knocking sound after the orifice valve installed. the sound occur when cornering on unflat road, very obvious when u go up/down parking lot with small small bump and keep round up and down. the sound come from front driver side near the front absorber (top and down also got).

Try to look for it in the TnG hub in kl sentral. most probably they have stocks there.

btw, anybody driving persona here is tall guy (180cm++)?
feels that the head room is kinda compact.. i was sitting on the driver seat and feels a bit squeezed...
wonder if is because i din adjust the height of the seat. hmm.gif
