Hi there,

this is my first post here. I read the star newspaper today and it had this info about this media player

Noontec MovieHome V9

The specs are here, http://www.hersheng.com/260.html. It is selling for RM600. The best thing, it has pvr function.

The review for this device http://www.dansdata.com/noontec_v9t.htm. Overall, review is good.

I am looking for mkv and rmvb player with pvr function. Only negative thing, it does not support wireless streaming.

I was wondering is it worth it to buy?

My 2nd option is below;

Asus O!Play Air HDP-R3 Media Player ( wireless capability but no pvr function)
http://www.lelong.com.my/asus-o-play-air-h...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Any experiance member can recommend a cheap pvr and media player for less than rm600 that records to a hard drive or usb?

From your other post, it seem that you already bought this.
I would like your review on this V9 as I would like to acquire one too for myself.
I've seen your review on Asus O!Play

hi there,

finally a reply to my thread. I have not bought noontec V9. I have the following noontec player

Noontec Multimedia Player, GV-3341, 3.5 HDD Media Player HDMI/Divx/Xvid/Card Reader/720p with 500gb seagate hd.

http://www.arc.com.au/pub.php?gid=23360&pid=37851&p=product

I was wondering anyone has bought the V9? There was a review in the star newspaper during the world cup. The review said good things.

I am looking for pvr for under rm500. any recommendation?

I bough the asus in low yat for rm490 whereas on lelong selling for rm600. Real rip-off. Since you are selling media player, any pvr under rm500 to recommend?

wub.gif me huh!

I presume GV3341 must not be in production anymore since its hard to get info of it. btw, the product on the link is also not available. Actually I can't find V9 in my place, but I found V8 for RM499. Not sure its worth it.
