QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Jun 8 2010, 02:26 PM)
Hence no gear stripping issue thumbup.gif
*
but 450D kit lens did wor.. why le har?? tongue.gif btw, congratz for you f1.0 L

in lens motor make you can use KM AF lens
somehow, i think that in-body motor is value-added to a body, as you might having antique lens with gear (cheaper) than newer lens that in-lens motor.

and you can always turn off it if u buy SAM/SSM lens

i think star trail need play with black card technique. where you block the lens with a black card so that no light spill in certain interval..

@fansoption, consider 70200G + teleconverter? when using 70200 having 105-300 effective focal length, and 2x converter make it even longer when you need reach something far. smile.gif (of course when if money not a matter)biggrin.gif

@zstan & lwliam
black card to block the surrounding light. so that it won't over expose another half of picture (usually seen in landscape)
unless is pointing upward to sky only
or i am wrong here? biggrin.gif
