it doesnt necessary have to be sharp, it all depends on the distance of the lens, or rather, the sensor, to the subject. it has quite a number of contributing factors

btw, does anyone know alpha 550 got 9 boxes views?..i want to learn on how to create a good composition...
like this:

DRO lights up some dark or underexpose parts in a photo. So i guess it works like pumping iso but for selective areas hence the increase in noise. Again, this is just an assumption.

ahpingko : the focus point is already at RO3 position...no need to depend on those boxes...u shoot more,u can imagine those boxes d...

but i am using f42 now~ less bulky~ easy to carry in my small sling bag~ good enough for casual outing with frens~ although f58 is in my list for future strobist~ but on the side note~ my heart set on the 50mm f1.4 1st~ hmmm~

+1 just remember the RO3 rules. And the lines will be there in your mind. Worst come to wrost can draw a line on top of your screen protector la.

Is depand on what u need and what is ur budget.

if choose between beercan and big beercan, i will opt for the beercan (70210f/4) for the constant aperture. although it might be small difference in two, one win for range, one win for aperture.

unless if you think range more important, then big beercan..
else sure a beercan can satisfy u..
