Hi, first time posting my almost completed computer so please do excuse my slow uploading and poor picture taking. Currently looking for somebody to help me take photos , so i'll do my best with what i have.

I always wanted a Silverstone TJ10 as my computer casing. So here is me dreaming and planning what to get for this project before going off overseas to study.

Well, the initial stage is pretty simple when i came back from studies... get a casing.. I got it here in lowyat forum from a nice guy DZX (he owes me the pic: to be inserted here)

So i dismantled it and sent it for powder coating and this is how it looks after, modding the side windows and putting on the fans.

During the time waiting for the powder coating, i went back to planning the theme and also naming it Monochrome.

Monochrome, a term generally used to describe painting, drawing, design, or photograph in one color or shades of one color. In this case a theme of black & white.

Designed a logo for it

the idea of the logo is simple, a monogram logo for a monochrome theme pc smile.gif

Next is to design some unique items which will carry this logo: the mid plate & the Fan Grill

Printed a few mock up of the design & testing them before sending them to be fabricated.

Sent the designs to be fabricated, Meanwhile i had the chance to install the components that i brought back from overseas.
(i backpacked around with a Thermalright True Black in my bag, 1kg ....... what was i thinking doh.gif )

I broke my camera and sent it for repair so i didn't have a good device to take photo but i still carried on building the computer.

So i'll summarized what happened in 2 months,

1) broke the camera
2) broke my gtx 285
3) got back my fabricated designs
4) got back my PSU
5) Installed the lights
6) Installed the rams

Voila , taken from my blurry iphone

Bought the gtx 470 to replace my gtx 285
Still lacked one more lighting module tho.

So i finished Monochome and got back the camera from repair

Here it is hooked up in the dark- Hope you like the pics

Yes DZX is correct on the heatsinks , however i'm using the older version of those ram heatsinks which does not have those Arctic RC logo... Do give me some time to take photo since she is quite heavy to bring around.

The lightbox i used white acrylic bought from lun1985 then i seperate a piece of white paper between the led lights to give it the soft glow effect instead of a very hard light...

I might* make monochrome watercooled which i'm currently measuring and planning.. if i dont make her watercooled then i'll start on my next project which i will build from nearly* scratch.

thanks for the nice comments
