Night Life you get at Long Beach , Perhentian Kecil Island.Last year i went there,nothing much to do during night life..quite bored compare Redang Island. .

No wonder Bubu have lots of room because their rooms are most expensive at Long Beach . Example for Standard room with twin sharing ,will cost around RM450 per night plus tax with breakfast and free evening cocktail ( 5pm till 6pm) . The cheapest at long beach you can get RM40 per night but only walk in .

There bus running by SP Bumi Express from Penang to Kuala Terengganu but you need drop off at Jerteh the catch the taxi to Kuala Besut jetty.

I can arrange more the 3 Island ...PM if you want ..more then 5-6 people would be fine.

Perhentian Island + Rawa Island + Susu Dara Island + Serenggeh Island + Lang Tengah Island + Redang Island normally its will take 4 Day 3 Night ...its really enjoy with beautiful coral life and blue pristine clear water .

Most backpackers like to stay this type of chalet,spend for RM40-RM50 per night.They don`t care

Added on July 11, 2011, 9:38 pmTake Bus direct to Kuala Besut jetty,only RM40 per way..depart at 9.00am from Hentian Putra KL to Kuala Besut jetty around 6.00am. Lots bus company such Mahligai Express ,Perdana Express ,Rengit Express and Muitara Express.

Spend at least RM50-RM80 per day..unless you bring your own food such Maggi,Bread,Mineral Water..will save lots money

The cheapest package price around RM280.00 per person for 3 day 2 night Perhentian Island Snorkeling Full Board Package.Depends which resort you stay to get cheapest .If you choose Standard Fan,slight cheaper maa .

You still can catch the boat at 2.30pm and able the be at Perhentian Island on the same day.Last boat at 5.00pm

You need to pay for triple sharing price..maybe around RM300 or less...Snorkeling is RM40 per person for 3-4 hour with equipment,spend for RM200 per person for 2 night should be ok.

Its good timing to visit Perhentian Island during early September with hot weather and blue sky. Good visibility really hard to say because too many factor such Weather , Rain and Low Tide .I just spoke with my Dive Master, trigger Fish breeding during August .Please avoid to dive at Tanjung Basi because lots of trigger fish here.Stay away around 3-4 meter from this fish.If the fish attack you,use your fin

Weather on September are ok...Monsoon season will start on November..

KL take bus from Hentian Putra Bus Terminal near The Mall and PWTC...to Kuala Besut jetty..direct..its take 8 hour journey.Normally bus depart at 9pm and reach here around 5.30am.Bus fare around RM40 per way...( Mahligai Express ,Perdana Express , Rengit Express )

Bus only RM40.00 per way from Hentian Putra direct to Kuala Besut jetty.For trains you need to drop off at Tanah Merah which are the nearest trains stations ,you need to fork out around RM60.00 per taxi..Your budget would be ok.

Perhentian Kecil Island ,more backpackers stayed here because rooms are cheaper compare Perhentian Besar Island...but bit poor in terms of cleanliness and services.But now days,the food price bit expensive for both islands. During Night you can go to Long beach for dinner and open disco.

No more monsoon season ...everyday good weather ,sunshine and blue sky! ...Its start to travel at Perhentian Island...

Perhentian Besar are best resort located here like Perhentian Island Resort , Coral View Island Resort ,Newcocohuts Chalet ,Abdul Chalet ,Cozy Chalet ,Mama Chalet ,The Reef .Watercolours Resort ,Arawana Perhentian Eco Resort ,Flora Bay Resort , Fauna Chalet ,Samudra Chalet and Alu alu chalet.The highest room rates around RM400- RM600 per night.Among the best snorkeling site is Teluk Pauh , Turtle Bay , Marine Park ,Shark Point , Tiga Ruang , Teluk Kekek .You might lucky to see a group of turtle eat sea grass at front Perhentian Island Resort during morning and afternoon. For Perhentian Kecil island most of backpackers stay here because here offering low room rate per night around RM30 basic room or dormitory with bed and fan.For Air conditions room,range budget around RM150 per night attached bathroom.Major tourist spot here stay at Aur Bay and Long Beach . Aur Bay are the best spot for Sunset and DLagoon Chalet are the spot for Sunrise. Only Lighthouse snorkeling site are the nearest to Perhentian kecil Island.Pathway are provide surrounding Perhentian Kecil Island,its use for Perhentian Island Marathon Challenge for every year event. You can take walk around the islands within 5-6 hour ,starting point from Long Beach > Aur Bay > Maya > Pasir Petani > Fishing Village > Long Beach..You can spend your time at Romantic Beach..less people here.Take time to go Hybrid Station which take 1 hour..don't forget to bring 1.5L Mineral water.. most beautiful panorama here..

Cross both islands by small boat will charge you around RM15 minimum per person or more depends which location.
