hi guys,

i want to go to Perhentian this april. you guys got any resort to recommend?
3 days 2 nights. I dont want too commercialized place like Awana. Secluded, quiet and nice is ok. I went to Redang and stayed at Wisana before, i want place like that.

Is possible not more than RM 400 per person sad.gif

Yes, can. A lot of snorkeling operator you can choose from. Even Shari-La itself have trip to snorkeling. For snorkeling trip, I don't know how much because I'm diving there. Maybe other forumer can help. Anyway, how much you paid for the room? What type of room?

Sometimes Tripadvisor will give you headache and sometimes good. You can read my review too on Tripadvisor. Their room are not that bad if you consider other resort on Perhentian Kecil. Bubu is 1 level up, great food but expensive. Sharila to me was perfect since I'm diving there. Food was average but the price about the same as outside food. Suite room have partial seaview but if you want nice view, ask for executive suite. Really superb view. Shari la also have their private beach (I forgot the name of the beach), good spot for snorkeling.

I've stayed twice at Abdul Chalet.. very nice. Chalet fronting the marine park. BEsides snorkeling u can climb the next hill for sight seeing.. other than that just enjoy the view. For nite life u can try hop to Perhentian Kecil. Abdul chalet more on the peaceful enjoy the view nothing else. smile.gif

Depends where u stay and what u plan to do.
If u want to do some hiking u must need a pair of shoe.
But if u want to be barefoot most of the time..a slipper would be fine.

I usually bring 2 types of shoe; slipper + crocs.
but end up using the slipper only and most of the time will barefoot coz not easy to walk on sand with slippers.

Sorry nvr introduce myself.
Never active on this thread but i've been to Perhentian 6 times and stayed in Perhentian Kecil.

No need la.. its a hill with a stair. Not an adventurous rock climbing type.. but atleast u can walk to the other side for sight seeing.
