My lens does not work like the video i saw in youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n_5CIdnF-4 ) although my camera focus-mode selector was switch to M and lens focus-mode switch to A.
It was like that from the day I start using my D90 (3 days ago) and I though this is normal until I watched this video.
Anyone know what is the problem?

wat r u trying to ask? frm my POV the video is about how the VR sounds when its turn n off
there's no showing of the guy switching the lens focus mode n the camera focus mode was in Auto
he's only switching VR on n off

I can't find other video. Just ignore the way he test his VR.
The problem I having now is my lens does not work like this. I can only rely on built in AF motor.

u mean body in built motor? AFAIK no AFS lens will focus using body AF motor, u sure?

What do u mean when ur lens doesn't work like the one in the video? Is it that ur lens won't pop-out like the lens in the video?
