Hi is there anyone here using Rockbox firmware from their compatible player? The sound setting are a bunch of complicated stuff to tweak to be honest. This is my setting, using Audio Technica ES-7 mostly with 5th gen Ipod video 30gb

low shelf: 0db @ 50hz, q 0.7
peak filter1: -6db @ 100hz, q 2.8
peak filter2: 0db
peak filter3: 0db
high shelf: 0db

channel configuration: custom
stereo width: 70%

Crossfeed:
direct gain -0.5dB
Cross gain -6.5dB
High frequency attentuation -6.5dB
High frequency cutoff 700 HZ

Then i just tweaked a bit on the bass setting and treble setting to some level of 5db ( i'm a bass head by the way)

Any1 can post up their sound configurations ? much appreciated !

I was thinking of installing Rockbox on my Clip+, but am afraid it will get bricked. Holding off on RockBoxing the thing until USB works with it on the Clip+.

you guys should try it...The setting of the sound system is so free that you can tweak on any way you want!

my settings are bass +7db and treble +1.. not in the EQ settings but the Sound Settings... I have my secret amp to boost the mids and soundstage...

not sure about sansa.. but its reversible on the ipod... tho it can do loads of stuff.. it drains the ipod (HP 4G colour photo) battery like hell

My phone's running on Rockbox. I just leave the EQ at default with my Portapro, but with my old PL50 i adjusted kau kau to bring out the bass within



and yes i gotta say, the EQ is super powerful with all the gains and cutoff frequency and stuff. really allows you full freadom to play with the sound

WTA here. anyone here can guide me how to install rockbox on my Creative Vision M 30gb player..kind of tempted with flac nowadays
