i just terminate my under contract combo package (RM60/mth, apply on Jan 2010) 2 days ago, at first i thought want to apply for new home line for the unipack (i'm using my GF's doc to apply). But then the staff told me my area's port is finished. So i ask her can terminate mine and register the unipack on current line for me. Then she walk back to staff room for awhile then come back to me and said can waive the penalty for me. So i'm happy with it and straight away ask for termination without paying anythings. And i just check my account status and it's terminated on 17th Jun. So now need to wait 2 weeks cooling period (as she told me) to process the unipack for me.

So i think she do really waived it for me. But i wonder will TM add in the penalty in my future billing?

Terminated my under contract combo RM60 on June 18 without penalty, and yesterday my streamyx is back in action with coolunipack 1mb package now.

And i just checked my capping is at 3mb for downstream. Happy!

I just ask for install new line at first, but then the staff told me no more port for new line, then she say can help me terminate my streamyx without penalty. So i just say ok lo. That's how i get it waived. lol
P/S: the combo RM60 is under my name, used 6 month and the coolunipack is using my GF's name to apply.

Btw, i getting D-link Wireless G DSL-2640B modem from this package, is this modem good?

Well, my D-link DSL-2640B do have a TM logo on it.

Just type 192.168.1.1 in your browser, then click on the status, then you can see the capping under ADSL.

Tm point at Desa Petaling, service is good but waiting time is slow...due to 2 counter open for registration only. So it's advise to go there early morning.

I get my streamyx terminated without penalty there.

Then my friend apply and get netbook all in 2 weeks time.

Which model you using 3 years ago? And what's the problem you having with it? The model giving out now is new D-link model bro.

Confirmation letter that show you studying in that college/uni. Just walk to your college/uni admin office and pass them the streamyx form, tell them you wan to get copped and comfirmation letter to apply streamyx coolunipack.
