I find it strange that you have over 2.5k post but unable to read the first page. I'm sure everything has been answered on the first page.

1. It is very clear, the first page mentioned that it DOES NOT INCLUDE phone rental. Also if you did some search, I did mentioned before that it's written clearly in the Terms of Service/Terms and Conditions. So it's very clear, no need to get confused.

2. Installation is only for 4Mbps and 2Mbps users. Those who order 1Mbps will not have any installers dropping by their house because there is no need to check for the basic requirements of 2Mbps and 4Mbps which is the ADSL2+ support. Also, I've never heard that the installation fee is RM 88. It should be RM 50, which once again was written in the FAQ of this site, http://www.streamyx.com/promotions/promoti...eamyxcoolunipac

3. Once again, the first month can be really different for individuals. For me, my first month billing was RM 25+ for phone line rental online, not inclusive of Broadband yet. This might be prorated accordingly in the 2nd month, so it varies.

4. If you have read the first page, then you should learn how to use the search button. I got most of my answers answered without asking much, but just using the search. The reason why many people would start flaming is because the laziness to use a simple yet powerful tool, called the "Search Button". The way you asked those questions shows us a first impression that you did not read carefully.

I hope that answers all your question.

I got a quick question! Whoever using the 210 netbook, was wondering if I can press the function buttons as default instead of needing to press 'fn' for it? Like make it terbalik.

Don't think possible @.@.. actually I was wondering why they never do the opposite like laptop.

Zepx, don't scares me

I think your No.1 and No.2 is incorrect

Let me copy paste from the first page of this thread
This is original copy paste without any text editing

9. Are the mentioned subscription fee inclusive of monthly rental? (RM 26 phone rental)
Yes

And...

You said this
But this is it, copy exactly from the official streamyx website which is the same streamyx link u given
NO Installation fee (save RM88)

So you say who is correct ??? you guys judge yourself  notworthy.gif

Erm my mistake, I wrong the installation thingy wrongly. I never read through my post anyway.

Well the TOS is more important anyway since everything is waived EXCEPT for phone line installation.

You guys can't beat me, I subscribed and apply for the upgrade at TMpoint Kajang on last Saturday(3/7/10) for my Streamyx Combo to CoolUniPack 4M package.

And today, voila~~ Techinician came over and set it up all ready.
Now I'm on 4mbps.....hahahaha...strangely enough for them to be so efficient and quick since the lady that served the other day say it will usually be done in 3-5 working days...and is only 1 working day...

KUDOS TM! rclxms.gif  thumbup.gif

Now all I have to do is wait for the laptop to come by.... hmm.gif

If you want to brag about it... I remember reading someone who got it within the same day of application smile.gif.

Attainable Rate is the potential rate. Your current download and upload speed is shown under Rate.

oic..so the attainable rate is the capped rate rite?... hmm.gif  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

Attainable is your telephone line Potential Rate. The word potential describes 'Possible to Attain' when there are no limitations such as caps. Another word to describe this is Maximum Line Speed. In other words, your line has the ability to obtain up to 2048 kbps of downstream speed, but since you are paying for 1mbps, you are capped at 1280kbps of downstream speed.

What you just need to look, is just Rate.

Attainable rate is affected by factors such as distance from the Exchange Server, condition of copper wire, external factors etc. ADSL2+ Attainable Rate/Maximum Rate/Potential Rate as per its technology only allows up to 24Mbps. ADSL on the other hand, about 8Mbps.

the copy of form is considered as confirmation slip?so is there any number that i can check my status online?
*
Confirmation Slip is written clearly on the header of the letter. If it's not there, then it's not a confirmation slip, just a copy for you.

does this netbook come with the window installation cd..?
if not, how do we re-install the window 7 if we need to format the HDD..?
thanks

I think this must be ur first time owning a Notebook/Netbook. All notebooks/netbook comes with OEM Branded recovery CD. But that was last time. Today, they provide you with recovery partition which you could boot it to do restoration.

Actually I don't give a damn to the recovery partition since I prefer clean install. All you need are the drivers and softwares as backup.

And what are the chances of harddrive failure for a laptop? The recovery partition is still not as important as your data smile.gif since you can always walk in to HP centre and ask for a new recovery partition partitioned if you ever changed your hardisk.

@mkei87,

It has been clearly stated at the website that if the delivery is more than 2 weeks, you will get 50% off. However, what I knew was that everyone is also getting 50% off their first payment though...
