As for the first question , its part of the package or deal. Basically you've been told that RM 38 is with free broadband. So I am not sure how this adds up together but there must be a way on that.
You'll have to open up your laptop. miniPCIe are much like umm installing PCI/PCIe cards to your desktop. You got to open up the laptop and swap them. Some laptops do have 1 miniPCIe slots , some with 2. hp mini has 2 , one is for wifi and another one is a blank mini PCie slot. That means you can use the empty slot for broadcom video accelerator (which allows you to do 1080p movie decoding) , 3g card or even gps miniPCIe card if you wish.
I think its like RM38 X 24 month contract = RM912, after two years u (maybe) will still paying the same amount, so this same amount is actually your broadband monthly bill for the 3rd years, netbook cost has already been cover from the past two years, that is why they mention free broadband for 2 years only, the subsequent 3rd years is no longer free broadband anymore because you are actually starts paying for the broadband bill.
Wah... open up the laptop?

is this going to void my waranty, i tot minipci is something like pcmcia can simply and conveniently slot it into my netbook so i can plug and unplug my 3g card across all my other laptops. about the broadcom video accelerator, how much this thing cost, i know this particular hp netbook cannot play HD not even 720p, i wish i can make it to play 1080p video too and do u know what is the wireless chipset that HP used for this netbook?
