hye guys, if we need to consult regarding our courses ( for degree )
whos the right person to go? i go to the counseling section but the answer were like * try 1st later u decide* are not what i had expected.

any seniors or staff from MMU here can clarify where and who should i go meet regarding this matter?

im in degree.. tomorrow already third week meaning that add/drop week ended.

as a direct intake student, i find it rather hard to get the information regarding majoring in FCM. Career Advisor? it was never assigned for us, only the fosee are well informed regarding the major. and for us.. no briefing and totally what so ever regarding the major.

so i decided to change from FA to MI, and seriously hoping no charges upon me tomorrow ;(

guys, anyone know who to consult if u have any doubts about your major?
i find it was hard to find academic adviser here in mmu cyberjaya..

any other solutions?

im a fcm student FA june batch,
i cannot changes to other fcm major despite it had been 6 weeks after the registration.

i need to wait for June 2011 to take that major.. meas my study duration would increase from 3 years to 4 years!

is there any way to change major at this point? help? SRC President? ;3

i dont know the exact situation. Why do you need to wait untill next year to change major? Couldnt you just change at the end of this semester, and take subjects that have no pre-requisite next sem and thereafter? That way, you may only need to extend 1 or 2 sems, or none at all depending on how well you arrange your structure. I think it is possible. Go talk to FCM assistant manager.

the thing is that i already spoke with the admin, he said that there wont be any oct intake this year, so they cannot offer the same major for the same year.. they would only offer the major during next june 2011

either wait till June 2011 and extend 1 year or take all the non-major courses while waiting for the major to be offered later, still need to extend 1 years though..

seriously im really disappointed with these and thinking should i quit? change to other uni? ;(

peachie, everything should be good if they let me changes major, i dun mind if i have to wait for the next sem but they asked me to wait until june 2011 which is exactly 1 years from now...
i asked them can i write an appeal for this? they said no, u cant, for God sake im here just for 6 weeks! ;(

fcm is good but for me, i already had a multimedia dip but now want more diversity so i choose MI but yeah, the problem occurred and i have to wait for 1 more year + extend.. which is really frustrating!
