I've made up my mind to enroll in MMU but somehow i am a bit worry about getting PTPTN cause i have a few reason to believe so.

I've read the PTPTN requirement that i need to give my biological parent IC/Passport copy but the problem is i am adopted and i am not sure if i can find my Biological parent that easily cause the are in Overseas.

I hope somebody could help me

you need to call up PTPTN officer ( numbers are available on www.ptptn.gov.my ) apart from that, you need to walk in to either Cyberjaya or Melaka's Admission office ( address can be obtained at www.mmu.edu.my > contact us )

then bring the copy of adopted proof lor...if you dont have it, then find a guarantor...then bring the guarantor's info and ic is sufficient

the problem is when i read the PTPTN require document, they stated that i need to bring my biological parent IC/Passport copy.
Why did they go all the way to specifically mention "Biological"(kandung) when they could easily mention parent/guardian?

Hi, can I ask for that, i had recieved the offer letter from cyber jaya mmu, but i havent settle the ptptn problem.. im taking foundation in information technology, but anyone know that how much i can pick a loan from ptptn? im planning to choose software engineering as a degree program, but im also wondering how much is the ptptn? in the year of ptptn the payment is monthly or per semester? if per month or semester how much? please reply me asap.. sry cuz im going for jan intake.. so nid it urgently.. >.<

ptptn loan is depends on your parents salary...if your parents got high pay, you got lesser loan.
the payment of ptptn is twice a year...early of the year and at the end of year...
the sum they pay every time is
total loan / years of study /2 = how much u will get

I'm a fresh graduated Diploma student in IT field and plan to further my Degree in MMU, So wanna gather some information's..

1) I heard a lot of students complaining about their management is very lousy(Cyberjaya).. Is that true?

2) Can i know what is the requirement for applying scholarship?
3) Can i enroll for the course if i don't have taken MUET exam before?

4) How long it take and cost for a Degree Course in IT? *I'm a fresh graduated Diploma student*

Erm then can I know wad is the meaning of full loan? because just now i asked the ptptn officer they said the foundation and degree program loan is always full loan, just wondering the two words..

1) quite true bout this rumor.... not only cyberjaya...melaka also..

2) requirements usually cgpa above 2.5/3.0 then you will have to go through their interview.

4) it takes 2.5 years for diploma student, and cost is around 45k...below 50k is for sure..

3) previously you can but now im not very sure as foundation student also need muet to go into degree..previously no need

full loan mean u dont need to fork out our own money to pay the fees...all fees are loaned from ptptn..for eg: your fees is 48k...if full loan ,u get 48 k lor... if not full maybe around 30k, maybe lesser..all depends on ur parents salary

I studied Foundation in IT in Melaka last 2 years, so maybe the situation is still staying the same(hopefully).

Foundation in IT total cost would be around 9-2-9.5k if i'm not mistaken.
PTPTN can give you max loan of 8k only.
So you need to cover yourself for the another 1.2-1.5k.
That's what happened to me.

Well, for Degree program, usually normal situation they will give full loan of 48k for 3 years of study la.
Means 16k per year. Should got leftover of around 1.5-2k extra.
That should be enough to cover all tution fees UNLESS you re-take some subjects you failed.

They are like the future-programmer etc...

In MMU, Information Technology got a lot of fields.
Each field focusing on their major and having their own pros and cons.
It really depends on what you're interesting in...
