gavin,
meaning 30th May morning is for registration, on the afternoon will be some briefing regarding whats going to happen the next day * for the whole week orientation.
1) finish the briefing can go back home? and come again on 31th May morning for the orientation?
@
2) after the briefing, pack all your needs and settle in the hostel?
if it fall on the (1) option, i just dint want my parent to sending me back on the 31th since their also had their share of work to do..
and if it fall to the second (2) point. im will be troubled since i haven't known whether i already got a room in hostel or not.

sorry for keep asking you question Gavin but really, im quite confused here hope u wont mind explaining things to me and others who might have same issue.

yes, after registration and have briefing.
U may go back and return back to MMU on 31st may. No prob too..
U wont be able to settle the room so fast. I mean, in one day. Maybe after orientation, u pack up ur things little by little?
haha.
Ok, lets make this clear. If u ask me, of course I will encourage each and everyone to join the orientation. Not only u have paid "some amount" in the RM1.8K. But also for u to know how MMU runs. Basically, in MMU, everything is using computer. From course registration until download ur lecture notes. So, orientation allows u to handle everything. I dont see why people do not want to come. I see it like, commit yourself for 5 days and u will survive for 4 years at least.
It is ur call, to come or not to come, but u make sure there is people to help u to register course online (the most important).
So, I would recomend u to stay after registrationa and make sure u settle ur accomodation first. Thats the important one.

MMU good at E n E engineering ???and i heard that they "saman" male students with long hair... isn't??
there are dress code to follow. BUt it depends. I have seen ppl dye their hair purple and etc. and the hair super punk. But did not kena anything. just to share, me and the head of security and campus director wanted to go out and have lunch. Then on the way, Major Anba stoped a student (international student) and told her, why her hair is like this. In front of me and the rest of the staff, she told, (sir, I am thinking with my head, not with my hair. So, i do not see it as a problem. With that sentence, she walk away and I laughed). Then as usual, the management will condemn me and other SRC for not having enough awareness. lolx.
